Note: This is a sidequest of The Vah. It is received by talking to the Vah you rescued as a Hidden Presence from Tunnels of Lasanth.

Note: This quest seems to open up after Mira Shahar has talked to Haryn and Hyvek Vahl. Be sure to listen to all of Hyvek Vahl stories.

Find Mira Shahar (Southern Waste of Tarhyl  at -1236 1357  • Vah Rehn camp) .

You say, 'Hail, Mira Shahar'

Mira Shahar pats the ground next to her. 'Hail, pet. Have a seat, let's chat a while.'

You say, '-Sit down.-'

Mira Shahar tells you, 'Close enough, I suppose.' Mira laughs. 'And no, I'm not planning to stop saying that. Tell me, are you hungry? There's not much good to eat here.'

You say, 'Hungry? Not now, but I will be soon. It happens pretty often, actually.'

Mira Shahar says, 'Good,' she purrs. 'It may seem strange, but in the absence of proper food, I find myself craving... steak.'

You say, 'Steak? Wait, you don't mean...'

Mira Shahar tells you, 'I do mean. I can gather the same spices I stole from the mutants easily enough, but if I leave the camp now it'll cause a panic. I offer you a deal, pet: retrieve for me a few slabs of minotaur meat and I'll prepare them and split what I make with you.'

You say, 'That's pretty disgusting.'

Mira laughs at you. 'No, disgusting is that pile of plant garbage you lot call salad. *This* is *steak*. Granted, the cow walks around and carries an axe and tries to kill you, but that's just more sporting. And--' she leans in conspiratorially, 'tastier, if you can believe it.

You say, 'I'll pass'

Mira Shahar tells you, 'I'm glad to hear it.' She licks her fangs. 'You're going to love this.'

Journal Text: Mira Shahar asked me to retrieve some slabs of minotaur meat from the ones in Lasanth. Any amount eight or over will do, but the more meat I bring the more of the finished product I get to keep.

Gather and give Mira Shahar:

• Slab of Minotaur Meat x 8

You watch with morbid fascination as Mira brings the minotaur meat to the fire. The process is relatively mundane: she cooks it like any other meat, sprinkling some spice on but only just a bit. Eventually, the steak is ready.

You receive Minotaur Steak (x 4) from Mira Shahar.

Journal Text: Mira cooked the minotaur meat and shared the results with me. If I want, I can bring more meat to get more steak, but it isn't necessary. She's satisfied her craving.
