Quests start with Rinbo Strongfoot running off someplace. Talk to Shar-el lady and then to Gimble. After that at night time only go to Whisperling Forest and on the hill to the right of Rivervale zone hail a council scout. Talk to her to spawn Rinbo Strongfoot. She will give you another Feedback Prod and tell you to use it to keep Rinbo from straying from the path; make sure to have a run speed buff. When you use the prod on Rinbo he will turn directly away from you and run a short distance before continuing toward the gate so be sure to position yourself properly before using it. Use the Feedback Prod on Rinbo to throw him left towards the road. Then just follow the road to the gate. Once Rinbo reaches gate hail him then go to the council camp at Shadowdale to hail him there. You can only attempt this quest once, so if you fail you cannot do it again.

Rinbo Strongfoot says, 'Thank you, <Player Name>. Your--ooh, I can't take it anymore, I just can't!'

Rinbo Strongfoot says, 'Staying out here... I should be out there, trying to help my people. I've snuck over when I could, and it's... it's horrible. They're suffering! They need my help!'

Rinbo Strongfoot says, 'I've got to go to them, <Player Name>.' He looks up at you pleadingly. 'I hope you understand, but I've got to help them.'
Find Councillor Shar-el (Shadowdale at 1464, 2331, 298 •) .
You say, 'Hail, Councillor Shar-el'
Councillor Shar-El says, 'Greetings. We seek truth among the dead. What do you seek?' Her accent is strange: foreign, but somehow familiar. You can't place it.
You say, 'Rinbo's run off to join the spirits!'
Councillor Shar-el says, 'So be it. Gimble may try to stop him. I will not.'
You say, 'Hail, Gimble Highsprocket'
Gimble Highsprocket says, 'Good day to you! Come to help, have you? We can always use more able minds.'
You say, 'Rinbo's run off to join the spirits!'
Gimble stands alert. 'This is horrible, awful news! I *warned* that little--agh, no time, no time! Hurry, run to the Whisperling forest, talk to our scout near Rivervale! If he's not there, wait until nightfall--that's when Rinbo will make his move.'
Find a Council Scout (Whisperling Forest at 590, -2455, 29 •) .

a Council Scout says, 'Hail, <Player Name>.'

a Council Scout says, 'I know. I spied him earlier--he's in some sort of trance and won't listen to reason. We must act quickly. He'll be here any moment, and we'll only have one chance to save him. Are you certain you're ready for this?'
You say, 'I am ready.'
a Council Scout says, 'Here, take this prod. I know it sounds foolish, but it's all we've got nearby--he may not know what he does, but give him a jolt with that and he'll be sure to run away from you. Keep him away from the spirits, guide him safely to Captain Lirra at the wall. Hurry! He'll come running out of Rivervale at any moment!'
You receive Feedback Prod from a Council Scout.
Find Rinbo Strongfoot in Whisperling Forest.
The sight of Captain Lirra seems to snap Rinbo out of his fugue. He looks around for a familiar face.
You say, 'Hail, Rinbo Strongfoot'
Rinbo shakes his head, tears in his eyes. 'Thank you, <Player Name>. I don't know what came over me, and it's not... it's not all gone, but I think I'll be all right, now.' He swallows, obviously speaking with difficulty. 'I'll head back to the camp while I still can. Meet up with me there, okay?'
You say, 'Hail, Rinbo Strongfoot'
Rinbo Strongfoot says, 'Thank you, <Player Name>. I have to go, now--noplace bad, but I need some time off. I...' He sniffs and looks longingly in the direction of Rivervale. 'I have some things to think through. I'll put in a good word for you. It's the least I can do.'
