Find Tavax Darkblood (Oggok  at 465, 440, 62  • Tunnel west of WAR guild) .

You say, 'I do'

Tavax Darkblood says, 'There is a smith here in Oggok. He works with... unique... materials. Speak with him -- he will know what you seek when he sees your blade.'

Find Smith Glurb (Oggok  at 288, -257, 3  •) .

Yo say, 'Hail, Smith Glurb'

Smith Glurb says, 'Ooh, yuz hab da runeblade? Me know what yuz want! Da obsidian edged runeblade, yep!'

You say, 'The what?'

Smith Glurb says, 'Da runeblade is a special sword Glurb makes for da Shadowknights. Yuz need a special ingot for it.'

You say, 'Where do I get this ingot?'

Smith Glurb says, 'Da ingot needs [unworked obsidian]. Me not know where dat comes from, but yuz look smart!'

You say, 'Unworked obsidian? What is that?'

Smith Glurb says, 'It takes four shards of obsidian to make da ingot. Den yuz give Glurb two ingots, da temper, and da runeblade... Glurb make yuz a nice sword.'

You say, 'How do I make this temper?'

Smith Glurb says, 'Humm... Glurb not know how to make da temper. Maybe yuz talk to da brewer here.'

Gather and give four Unworked Obsidian to Smith Glurb.

Smith Glurb says, 'Der yuz go, one worked obsidian ingot! When yuz get two, bring dem wit da temper and da runeblade and Glurb make yuz a new sword.'

You receive Worked Obsidian Ingot from Smith Glurb.

Note: Remember, you need two of the Worked Obsidian Ingot, so repeat the last step.

Find Skorg (Oggok  at 546, -181, 3  • Near Brewer) .

You say, 'Hail, Skorg'

Skorg says, 'Skorg has der things fer you dat wants make somethin' strong! Skorg also know how to make der dark temper.'

You say, 'How do I make this dark temper?'

Skorg says, 'You take der blood of something dead, der dust that decays, and two of der flesh of a zombie. You combine dat in der barrel and gets a temper!'

Gather and combine in Brew Barrel to create Dark Temper:

• Zombie Flesh x 2
• Blood of the Dead
• Dust of Decay

This combine requires Brewing (trivial at 22)

Give two Worked Obsidian Ingot, Dark Temper, and Initiate's Runeblade to Smith Glurb.

Smith Glurb hammers the ingots into sheets, then uses the temper to bond the sheets to the runeblade, 'Der yuz go! A shiny new runeblade!'

You gain 4000 experience!!

You receive Obsidian Edged Runeblade from Smith Glurb.
