Trader Voyna says, 'Ah, Soldier. Are you here looking for work? I could use some assistance in a rather delicate task.'

Trader Voyna says, 'Tell me, <Player Name>, how good a diplomat are you? As you undoubtedly know, the Silver Crown has claim to all new settling and shipping in the Badlands. The problem is that there are several native species of the Badlands already, ranging from openly hostile to simply dubious about our motives. I am in charge of bettering relations with those species that do not present a direct threat to us, and I would like you to seek up the leaders of these species - the Kargyxx and the Centaurs, to be precise - and help them out. Win their trust, make them see you as an ally. We need to win their trust so that we can be certain they will not interfere with our operations in their territory.'

You say, 'Then what?'

Trader Voyna says, 'Once they see you as their ally, I want you to present them with these Tokens of Alliance to show the goodwill of the Silver Crown. The leader of the Kargyxx is a windseer named Mazik, and the leader of the Centaur is their Tribe Elder, Helleron of the Plains. Go speak to them, <Player Name>!'

Centaur Faction

Find Helleron of the Plains (Centaur Hills  at 4985, 765  •) .

You say, 'Hail, Helleron of the Plains'

Helleron of the Plains says, 'Hrrm. Please do not disturb us, <Player Race>. We have had enough of strangers lately.'

You say, 'I have been sent by the Silver Crown to assist your tribe.'

Helleron of the Plains says, 'Is that so? I must wonder what the Silver Crown expect in return for this assistance, but very well, I shall speak to you of our grievance if you wish.'

Note: Asking about Helleron's concerns will prompt no answer at all if you are Dubious to him, you must hand in manes to raise faction in order to receive the text asking you to hand in manes.

You say, 'What concerns do you have?'

Helleron of the Plains says,'<Player Name>, my tribe has not always lived in this restricted territory. Once we were the masters of the Emerald Plains, what you call the Badlands, roaming free and living off the land. Then the corruption came, and drove most of my people mad. Even my son succumbed to that horrible affliction. They still live out there, roaming, insane and mindless. If you are willing to aid in resting my heart and earning the friendship of the Centaur further, [playername], then I ask of you that you put these, my once people, to rest from their madness. Bring me some of their manes, to be buried and remembered by.'

Note: Asking about Helleron's son will prompt him to tell you he cannot trust you enough to tell you about it, if you are below Ally

You say, 'Who was your son?'

Helleron of the Plains says, 'My son, Ulidrak. He... no. I do not wish to speak of it. Suffice to say that I want his torment ended, I want him to rest in the great afterplains. He wanders the Badlands, mad, bloodthirsty. I beg of you, put an end to his misery, and bring me some of his mane.'

Gather and give Centaur Mane(s) to Helleron of the Plains.

Helleron of the Plains says, 'Ah... a lost brother, put to rest. Thank you, <Player Name>.'

Your faction standing with Centaur Survivors has gotten better!

When your faction with Centaur Survivors raised to ally, give Helleron of the Plains a Token of Alliance.

Helleron of the Plains says, 'Hrrm, yes, you have done much for us and I will trust your good intentions in this matter. I accept the token.'

Kargyxx Faction

Kargyxx faction can be raised to ally via Mazik Windweaver's bounty quest.

When your faction with Kargyxx raised to ally, give Mazik Windweaver a Token of Alliance.

Mazik Windweaver says, 'Yes, <Player Name>, you have shown yourself to be a friend of the Kargyxx. While I do not completely trust that the organization you represent is equally honorable, I will accept this, and think better of the Silver Crown.'
