High Trader Bendrick says, 'Hey again Kid. By the way, nice gloves. You get situated with those tasks yet? High Traders are very busy, very important people. We got a lot that needs doing, and don't like to be kept waiting!'

You say, 'What tasks did you have for me to do?'

High Trader Bendrick says, 'I got two important tasks, that are about as different as can be. Still, both are important. Enforcement of a treaty and Diplomacy.'

You say, 'What enforcing needs to be done?'

High Trader Bendrick says, 'You see, me and Davenco here are sometimes called upon to act as enforcers. That's a real important part of what the Silvercrown does-'

First Officer Davenco interrupts, 'As stated on page 623, line 28 of the Silvercrown Officers Manual, while the pen is mightier than the sword, the sword cuts those who would ignore the paper. And the blackscale refuse to acknowledge our treaties.'

You say, 'The Blackscale are doing what now?'

High Trader Bendrick says, 'Blackscale have been sighted all over! Newport, Surefall, Oggok, Kelethin, Thurgadin. Probably more. Our treaties say we are to protect our allies from hostile forces, and we know the Blackscale ain't up to good. Reports say that they are skulking around at night, hidden of course. Find em and gut em! Er-'

First Officer Davenco sighs, 'By the power granted to me, and in accordance with article 13 of the Silver Crown Charter, I hereby grant you the right to act as jury, and executioner, against the Blackscale spies who have breached our treaty. You are given authorization to slay up to five of these treaty breakers. Return to us, and speak with High Trader Bendrick when you complete this task.'

 

Journal Text: It would seem that the Blacscale have been spying on our cities and allies. I have been assigned the task of finding and slaying these spies. They are reported to come out at night, in most major cities the Silvercrown has a presence in. I'm to kill up to five, then return to Bendrick to report.

Note: a Blackscale Spy spawn at night in many cities, and do seem to respawn after a while (don't have to wait an in-game day after you kill them). They are trackable when up. When you kill them it will show you how many you have killed.

Kill five a Blackscale spy and return to High Trader Bendrick.
