Walkthrough

Find Sister Borlida (Dreadlands  at 722, 9723, 1068  • Refuge) .

You say, 'Hail, Sister Borlida'

Sister Borlida simply nods at your greeting. 'So you are <Player Name>. Your exploits are becoming quite the talk around here. Some are calling you the next big hero of the rebellion.'

You say, 'Thank you, I try my best.'

Sister Borlida frowns. 'I don't like that <Player Name>. Not at all. You know what a hero is? A dead man walking. Exciting people, making them hopeful, and then crashing their dreams is cruel, and worse a savage blow to morale.'

You say, 'What would you have me do? Fail on purpose to seem more human?'

Sister Borlida growls. 'Don't take that tone with me. I'm not smitten by what you've done so far, it is nothing special. But we are short handed, and tasks need to be done. As you did finish Sortels tasks, I'm sure you'll have no issue with mine as well.'

You say, 'I'm sure they'll be easy, what needs to be done?'

Sister Borlida clears her throat. 'War is brewing <Player Name>. We recently had a meeting with the Orcs of Tur`Rujik, and they are planning raids certain on Kaezul holdings. This worrys us, for when the Orcs go to war, Kaezul increases all patrols. Rorlna has already reported ramped up training in the Citadel. All this means that we are ill prepared to defend ourselves if the inevitable happens.'

You say, 'I'm sorry, I was just doing my job.'

Sister Borlida smirks. 'I don't hold it against you. People need hope. But they also need to live, and that's what I want your help with. Ensuring their safety. You would assist with this, correct?'

You say, 'Of course, what needs to be done?'

Sister Borlida clears her throat. 'War is brewing <Player Name>. We recently had a meeting with the Orcs of Tur`Rujik, and they are planning raids certain on Kaezul holdings. This worries us, for when the Orcs go to war, Kaezul increases all patrols. Rorlna has already reported ramped up training in the Citadel. All this means that we are ill prepared to defend ourselves if the inevitable happens.'

You say, 'Indeed, it sounds very dire. How can I help though?'

Sister Borlida says, 'You've met Azzyk our scout leader. You will now meet with his superior Tactician Nazdrak. He and his assistant Girix help keep us one step ahead of Kaezul, and are also in charge of arming and training all of our troops. They have been informed that you are coming and likely have tasks ready for you. Caretaker Kolsaz has also requested further assistance in his research, and I would like you to give him whatever support you can.'

You say, 'Kolsaz and I don't exactly see... eye to eye.'

Sister Borlida says, 'Frankly I don't give a damn what occurred between you two. You WILL do as he says, because he is a VERY valuable resource to us. I don't want to hear you complain about his methods again.'

You say, 'Very well. I'll leave immediately.'

Sister Borlida nods.'Execute your tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible, then await further orders. If I need you I'll send for you.'

Journal Text: Sister Borlida fear that a major confrontation with Kaezul's troops is coming sooner rather than later. She wishes for me to help the rebels prepare by speaking with Tactician Nazdrak, his assistant Girix, and Caretaker Kolsaz. I'd best get on with it.
