You say, 'These Shadow creatures and Undead you mean...'

Projection of the Deep says, 'Yes <Player Name>. I shall continue to try and make contact with Althuna and Shojar, but I leave it to you to investigate other leads. Before your peers were killed, three were following leads I think are worth following up on. I wish for you to finish their work, and report back to me. You are impulsive by nature, and I give you full authority to handle each case as you see fit.'

You say, 'What were these three leads?'

Projection of the Deep says, 'Chrusam was following a lead on a cultist of Gradalsh. The undead and plagued horrors you fought could be related to him. Poltas was trailing a creature thought to be a follower of Marlow. Shadows and undead are both also signs of the queen of dreams. Finally poor Saosos was investigating the death of an agent of Jayla. I doubt she's involved directly, but she often knows things we don't.'

At this point there are three sub-quests which must be completed to progress:

1. Route of Rot
2. Trail of Temptation
3. Course of Corruption

You have completed all three tasks. It is time to take your findings back to Tarhansar.

You say, 'Hail, Projection of the Deep'

Projection of the Deep says, 'You have returned? You're tasks are complete then? What have you learned?'

You say, '[Show your journal and explain all you've found.]'

Projection of the Deep says, 'This... is a lot to take in. The Grey paladins... Temptation... the runes. I-'

You say, 'Is something wrong?'

Projection of the Deep says, 'Frankie. I sent him to investigate Eldenal's Mansion... he needs help immediately. Something about Temptation. Get to Eldenal's and assist him immediately! I shall dwell on what you have told me.'

Upon approaching Eldenal's Mansion:

As you approach, beneath the nearby tree. You see Frankie, a look of horror on his face.

You say, 'Hail, Frankie Furfoot'

He is cold to the touch, skin the shade of stone... somehow he has been petrified. Suddenly a chill overcomes you, and you feel a deadly presence converge around you!

Defeat an unknown shadow x2.

Frankie remains still and cold.

Note: Journal Entry: This... it's gotta be a challenge from Temptation. I need to get back to Tarhansar, he'll know how to fix this.

You say, 'Hail, Projection of the Deep'

Projection of the Deep says, 'You have returned quickly. We have much to discuss, but the time is not right.'

You say, 'We have no time! Frankie is-'

Projection of the Deep says, 'Correct, we have no time. But only because I have contacted Althuna and Shojar. And we shall speak shortly. Give me your pearl immediately, the previous enchantments have set and it can be empowered further. Time is of the essence!'

Give Projection of the Deep your Glimmering Pearl of Tarhansar.

Projection of the Deep takes the Glimmering Pearl and glows brightly . 'There, it has been strengthened. Once the enchantments set, it can be further enhanced. Now make haste, and meet by my physical form.'

You receive Glowing Pearl of Tarhansar from Projection of the Deep.

You gain 150000 experience!!
