Slam

Slam is an innate large race ability similar to bash. Large races are Trolls, Ogres and Barbarians.

Slam allows a player to deal minimal damage to a PC or NPC it is fighting, and has a chance to briefly stun it, interrupting the casting of spells. This skill works off the shoulder armor slot, which means that you will require a magical piece of armor to slam creatures impervious to non-magical damage.

You may not train or increase your skill in slam. However, if your class has also access to the bash skill, then increasing your bash skill will slightly increase your ability to slam successfully.

A troll, ogre, or barbarian illusion will allow a smaller race to use slam. Simply obtain the illusion and enable it from your combat abilities.

Note: Warriors that want to bash can actually use the slam hotkey. In this scenario, your chance to hit and damage calculation will check against the bash skill,and bash skillups can occurr normally, as well.
