You say, 'Where's Mongo?
Hayden Aulder says, 'He's in an inn room in Southern Newport, surrounded by weak magician wards. If you help break him out, he'll wander off on his own. We'll have Specialist Galadian there to take him! Get two ethereal stalactites from Kaladim and hand them to Mongo, then bring me the remnants. If he isn't there, talk to me and I'll update you on his position'
Gather and give two Ethereal Stalactite to Mongo (Southern Newport at 367, -120, 3 • A back room on the first floor of the Lion's Mane Inn) .
Carefully approaching Mongo, you set one stalactite in place and skitter back, edging around the room while waiting to see if the massive elemental has decided to smash you into a dozen pieces. Relieved that he has not, you place the second stalactite--success! There's a bright flash and the stalactites crumble to dust, but Mongo is loose and it's only a matter of time before he wanders off. You collect the stalactite remnants. Your guildmaster will want to see them.
You receive Darkened Crystal Fragments from Mongo.
Return and give Darkened Crystal Fragments to Hayden Aulder.
Hayden Aulder says, 'Excellent! Galadian has already taken Mongo into custody for the protection of the citizens of newport. The magicians have requested his location that they might go get him back, but I fear the message has been delayed until after the big game. Bureaucracy can be so inconvenient. For your part in the matter, wear these kneepads with pride!'
You gain 8000 Experience!!
You receive Fiery Explosion Kneepads from Hayden Aulder.
