Find Master Kolan (Southern Newport  • End of the second dock) .

You say, "Hail, Master Kolan"

Master Kolan says, "The city of Newport does not thrive on a stagnant guard - all who watch over the city are steadfast in their efforts. As a young disciple, you should do your part to assist in protecting the city. Beyond the gates are the Blackmaw gnolls - their youngest fighters, the pups - are sent to the city in attempts to sneak past the guards so that they may attack the merchants of Newport. Defeat threee of the pups, before they can make it into the city, and then speak with one of the guards at the gate. If they have seen your deeds, they should give you a medallion of service. Return that to me."

Kill three a gnoll pups in Northern Newport.

After each kill, a short status message will confirm the kill.

Find any Newport Guardsman.

You say, "Hail, Newport Guardsman'

Newport Guardsman says, "I saw you strike down the gnolls approaching the city, player. you have done a great service to Newport, please take this medallion as recognition."

You receive Medallion of Service from the Newport Guardsman.

Give Medallion of Service to Master Kolan.

Master Kolan takes the medallion from you, "Does it not feel good to contribute to the safety of Newport? Take these armbands - your deed to the city has shown you deserve them. There is a matter of dire importance now, that I need you to look into."

You gain 300 experience!!

your faction standing with Crimson Order has gotten better!

You receive Windwoven Armbands from Master Kolan.
