Not until a foolish gnome decided to try to make an intelligent clockwork, a thinking contraption to coordinate and lead the other clockworks. The result was an uprising, as this coordinator rebelled against us, turning many fighting clockworks against their masters and seizing control of the Steamfont Mountains Mines. It is still there, and still presides over its army of rogue machines. I want you to hunt it down. Know that I have given this task to many Overseers, and none have succeeded. Man, indeed, have died. Regardless, I place hope in you. Destroy The Coordinator and bring back its clockwork brain, so that we may destroy it.'

Kill The Coordinator (Steamfont Mountains  at 1702, -2206  • Northernmost room in caves) and loot Clockwork Brain.

Give Clockwork Brain to Training Master Vaenla.

Training Master Vaenla says, 'The Coordinator is destroyed? You have done Underhill a great service, <name>. Give me your Overseer Band, that I may improve it.'

Give Jasper-Inlaid Overseer Band to Training Master Vaenla.

Training Master Vaenla says, 'It will take time to root out all the rogue clockworks in Steamfont Mountains, but with their leader gone, we are sure to succeed. Still, there is work to be done, <name>.'
