Resting the Dead

Priest Jezen of the Temple of Divine Light wants you to prove yourself by vanquishing the undead and bringing back their remains.

Note: Some races, such as the Froglok, may be unable to interact with Priest Jezen due to faction reasons. A simple Illusion: Erudite buff will fix this and allow the questline to be initiated.

Find Priest Jezen (Erudin  •) and speak with him.

You say, 'Hail, Priest Jezen'

Priest Jezen says, 'I welcome you to our temple, wanderer. What is it that you wish of me? Are you here to help the temple?'

You say, 'I am here to help the temple.'

Priest Jezen says, 'Very well. As a young member of the temple, you must understand that while our prime responsibility is to service and heal, we have others. For example, dealing with the undead.'

You say, 'What are these undead you speak of?'

Priest Jezen says, 'Undead are living corpses, animated through foul magic. Since the rise of Kaezul, undead populations have boomed, a result of his twisted magics at work. Our own forests are infested with skeletons wandering among the trees, and across the river lies the foul mansion from which the taint is spread. <Player Name>, will you battle the living dead?'

You say, 'Then the undead are my enemy. I will battle them.'

Priest Jezen says, 'Very good. Your first test shall be simple. Bring back the bone chips of four walking skeletons that prowl our forest.'

Fetch and give to Priest Jezen:

• Bone Chips x 4

Priest Jezen says, 'Excellent work. I see you can adequately deal with the weaker undead. Return to me if you wish another task.'
