Priestess Andrenia tells you, 'Hail to you, traveler. I am Priestess Andrenia, of the Temple of Life. I have come to the badlands to study the corruption that has spread throughout the creatures of the lands. I mean no harm to the peaceful beings or to nature itself, but there must be something done to stop this plague. My crusade is one of redemption and cleansing the corruption from the tainted. If you would like to follow in my lead, then I would gladly accept the assistance.'
You say, 'I would love to help you.'
Priestess Andrenia tells you, 'Thank you! The work is just beginning, so it will take many days if not years to complete this crusade. To do your part, lay the corrupted to rest, and gather their blood for my research. Two vials filled to the brim should do.'

Gather and give two Corrupted Blood to Priestess Andrenia.

Priestess Andrenia tells you, 'The blood you have provided is an enormous help, but now I would like to take a closer look at the corrupted for myself. There must be a way to cure them harmlessly, so I ask you follow me as we search for answers.'

You gain 5000 experience!!

Follow Priestess Andrenia.

Taroceth the Decaying and two an entropy cultist spawn. Kill them before they kill Priestess Andrenia.

Note: Killing Taroceth the Decaying will result in a faction hit with Cult of Entropy.
Note: If Priestess Andrenia dies, she will re-spawn in approximately 5 minutes.
Priestess Andrenia tells you,' Thank you for defending me from that vile shadowknight. It appears there are those who seek out the corruption for other reasons than to cure it from the land. Now I ask you to meet with three natives of the land, to learn further of the corruption and what causes their peoples: an elder leader of the Kargyxx of the Badlands, a priestess of the gnolls of Starfall, and the leader of a dejected centaur tribe who has taken up in the hills to the west - near the city of Newport. I will meet you back at the tower.'

You gain 2500 experience!!

Find the leader of the Kargyxx, Mazik Windweaver (Southern Badlands  at -6662, 1043, 164).

You say, 'Hail, Mazik Windweaver'
Mazik Windweaver says, 'Welcome, wanderer, to the home of the Kargyxx. I am Mazik, the Windweaver. You are free to use our shelter or seek what supplies we can offer. As long as you leave us in peace, we leave you in peace. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for our misguided Tarxan cousins.'
You say, 'I come to learn of the corruption.'
Mazik Windweaver tells you, 'The corruption is a dreadful thing, young <player race>. It claims so many of my people... not even in our city are we completely safe. I see it sometimes, small, almost transparent shadows that hunt, hunt and seek for beings to touch, to merge with, to corrupt. I know not what these things are, but they must be creatures of a grave evil indeed.'

You have learned of the corruption from the Kargyxx.

Find the priestess of the gnolls, A gnoll priestess (Lake Starfall) (Lake Starfall  at 239, 2179, 58).

You say, 'Hail, a gnoll priestess'
a gnoll priestess says, 'Bark! Hail, <Player Name>! Please come to our village in peace, it is our way. Do not mistake us for our cousins in the depths of the Maw, or the violent plaguewind that roam the badlands.'
You say, 'I come to learn of the corruption.'
a gnoll priestess tells you, 'Bark! The plague came before the corruption. It killed the animals, leaving, I think, only those with such minds that they fell easily to the corruption that followed. While the plague drove my people insane, and killed thousands of creatures, the corruption was even worse. 'The corruption comes at night', the sick ones would scream in their feverish ravings, 'comes at the fall of night to seek and infect'. This lake is thankfully free of the corrupted, so I know nothing else.'

You have learned of the corruption from the gnolls of Starfall.

Find the leader of a dejected centaur tribe, Helleron of the Plains (Centaur Hills  at 4985, 765).

You say, 'Hail, Helleron of the Plains'
Helleron of the Plains says, 'Hrrm. Please do not disturb us, <player race>. We have had enough of strangers lately.'
You say, 'I come to learn of the corruption.'
Helleron of the Plains tells you, 'To my shame, I have been unable to discover much about the corruption that claimed nearly my entire people. You see, at the beginning, when only a few centaurs were being corrupted, we locates certain sites - old ruins, mystic standing stones, and similar areas - which they had strayed near at the time. As we went to investigate these areas, however, we were set upon by undead guardians, horrible spectres that we were unable to fight. These guardians were not the facilitators of the corruption, I believe, but the protectors of it. If there is any place the corruption is coming from, it is these guarded sites.'

You have learned of the corruption from the centaur.

Return to Priestess Andrenia.

Priestess Andrenia tells you, 'Hmm, you've learned of the natives of these lands and their past experiences with the corruption. And you've also learned of the shades which appear during the night because of it. These shades, they are crucial to the corruption here ... but it seems unlikely that there is anything we can do about it now. Perhaps later, when I have studied these shadows more in detail, if you are willing to return and assist me then. For now, I thank you for your assistance and protection. You are a true friend of all life.'

You gain 5000 experience!!

Your faction standing with Hand of Life has gotten better!

You have learned of the corruption of the Badlands.

Find Seeker Tresaria (Sea of Swords  at 1309, -7875, 129  • In a tower on an island in the northeast between two other islands) .

You say, 'Hail, Seeker Tresaria'
Seeker Tresaria tells you, 'I see you have returned. More enlightened about the corruption Kaezul has spread on these lands. And at the same time, you have made a choice in which path to believe in. Nevertheless, Kaezul is someone of great power... you have learned of his legion and that they are merely people like yourself, and you have also learned of his plagues and how he has touched the lands of Dalaya. Now you should learn of Kaezul himself, what he looks like, and how he acts.'

You gain 10000 experience!!
