Artificer Vrant tells you, 'The Spear of Provocation, as the name implies, will drive your opponents into such a blind rage that they will ignore any other threats and focus on you. In order to finish this project I need a Wraithsteel Spear Tip, the Codex of Grudges and a Heartwood Branch.'

You say, 'Wraithsteel Spear Tip?'

Artificer Vrant tells you, 'Wraithsteel weapons were used almost exclusively by the blacksmiths of Freeport. The art of making the material has been lost, but you may still be able to find a piece of wraithsteel in that dead city.'

You say, 'Codex of Grudges?'

Artificer Vrant tells you, 'The Codex of Grudges was a holy book of the dwarves of Kaladim, recording great wrongs done to the dwarven race as a whole. According to legend, some of the vengeful wrath of its authors has passed on to the book, making it a potent channeling device for rage and hatred.'

You say, 'Heartwood Branch?'

Artificer Vrant tells you, 'A sturdy piece of Heartwood is needed for the shaft of the spear. Heartwood trees only grow on the Heartland Plateau of the Old World.'
