Find Sentry Drellig (Western Wastelands at -4250, -3309, -72 •) .
Sentry Drellig says, 'Well done, <Player Race>. While you were away, it has come to my attention that the scale are escorting something... a relic of some kind, by way of a matriarch of their kin. Our latest reports indicate that it is enroute to Dragonhorn, and so I must ask that you intercept it. Whatever this relic is, it cannot reach Dragonhorn Keep. Locate the matriarch and kill her, then recover the relic from her broken body and return it to me.'
Matriarch of the Scale spawns in the west and begins walking towards Dragonhorn Keep.
Kill her and return the Shard of the Scale to Sentry Drellig.
Sentry Drellig says, 'Hrm... this shard is unusual. I will study it, but it will take time to understand exactly what its purpose is. Return to me later in the day and perhaps I will know for sure what their intent was for this relic.'
You gain 2500 experience!!
