a gnoll priestess says, 'Bark! Hail, <player name>! Please come to our village in peace, it is our way. Do not mistake us for our cousins in the depths of the Maw, or the violent plaguewind that roam the badlands.'

You say, 'who are these plaguewind you speak of?'

a gnoll priestess says, 'In truth, the Plaguewind Gnolls that live along the shores of the Bad River were once of our tribe, and their homes ours. This was until the plague took them, and we were forced to flee lest we be afflicted as well, or slain by one of our former friends or lovers taken by the incessent rot. Bark! My husband was among those taken by the plague. He now rules over them, under a new name, in insane and decaying worship of the Lord of Plague. Each day I miss him and pray that he would be freed of the horrible specter of life that now upholds his body. Perhaps one day the Ocean Lord will listen.'

a gnoll priestess says, 'The Ocean Lord has heard my prayers at last. Now I can prepare myself to join him in the final rest. Bark! I thank you, <player name>. I will soon need this no longer. I hope you can find some use for it.'
