During the course of playing Shards of Dalaya, one comes across a myriad of acronyms: two or three letter short cuts for longer expressions. Players frequently (and liberally) use acronyms since they allow for quicker communication online. Unfortunately, memorizing all of these acronyms takes time and a new player can easily find themselves confused!
This page attempts to document some of the most common acronyms. They fall into several categories:
- Straight-forward acronymns, e.g. AA = Alternate Advancement
- Items, e.g. dots = Peridots
- Quests, e.g. MQ = Main Quest
- Spells, e.g. SoW = Spell: Spirit of Wolf
- Zones, e.g. BB = Blackburrow
- MOBs, e.g. LL = Living Lava, a named MOB in Fire Grottos
