Find Vahir Ghan (Southern Waste of Tarhyl at 1617, -681 • Vah Rehn camp) .
You say, 'How do I do that?'
Vahir Ghan says, 'Seek out the great prison in the frozen north. Find four of thier midnight gems and forge them into the hilt of your weapon, along with a rare rune of thier arcane strength. The Shir blade is adept at harnessing the strengths of the foes it fells, and in this way you can add thier power to it. Show me the result and I will show you the next step.'
Collect and combine in a Forge to create Cunning:
- Corruption
- Peerless Midnight Pearl x4
- Rune of Vandathian Might
Give Cunning to Vahir Ghan.
Rahkahl nods approvingly at the blade. 'The Vandathian gems and rune suit our purposes well, and lend much power to your weapon. If you're interested, I have learned of another place we might harvest to further master your sword.'
Vahir Ghan returned Cunning to you.
You say, 'Where do you have in mind?'
Vahir Ghan says, 'First you must retrieve four samples of the purest valorium to strengthen the blade. In order to melt the valorium, only the hottest sunfire coal will suffice. Once reforged, the blade will be far too hot to quench with water, as it would evaporate instantly. But, a slab of pure ice will be able to withstand the heat of the molten steel. Lastly, you must adorn the pommel with a focus of your devotion. Only the most fanatical worshiper would have such a trinket. Gather all that and use it to reforge the Shir Blade. Show me the result and I will tell you the next step.'
