Strategy

- After spawning The Boogeyman head towards the soutwest side of the zone (use invis). You want to be around -473, 3641, -51. This is the safest place to engage The Boogeyman (no roaming adds) and he roams here.
- Once you engage The Boogeyman the first thing he will do is a frontal fear ("The Boogeyman targets you with a frontal fear!"). This fear also wipes the aggro from anyone it hits. Everyone should be behind him at this point except the active tank.
- When the fear hits, you will need a secondary tank (that was building aggro) to switch positions with the previous tank (that got hit by fear).
- After the fear happens he will do his targetted attack mechanic. Every player in the raid will be targetted with a Front Arm attack, or a Rear Spikes attack. This can be different for each character.

  • If you are targetted with the front arm attack. Go behind The Boogeyman.
  • If you are targetted with the rear spikes attack. Go in front of The Boogeyman.

- When you get targetted by an attack you have 10 seconds to get into position before he performs the attack. It is imperative that everyone dodges the attacks when possible as the front arms deal 4K damage while the rear spikes inflict 3K.
- After his attacks go off everyone should reposition behind The Boogeyman except the tank. He will be doing his frontal fear once again soon.
- When the next frontal fear goes off tank swap again (the previous tank should of been building aggro after he lost it from engage)
- The Boogeyman will also be doing an AOE disease based slow/dot. The damage is very minor and the only thing that matters on this is the melee slow.
- Repeat until he goes below 50% HP.
- Once The Boogeyman is below 50% HP he will start to spawn one add after every "assault", either front arms or rear spikes. The adds are called "Night Terror".
- At 25%, the Boogeyman begins to spawn *two* adds instead of one after every front arms/rear spikes has been dodged.
- Add spawn rate stays fixed after the one change at 25%.

  • The adds are NOT rootable
  • The adds ARE snarable
  • No other CC tested as of yet
  • The adds spawn close to whoever is tanking The Boogeyman. In front of the boss.

- We snared and kited the adds while focusing down The Boogeyman (He still does all his mechanics in the above order while you have to deal with the adds. Kite them close to The Boogeyman so that you can get behind or in front of him as needed)

Group suggestions

It took us a raid of 12 to defeat him, but will be testing with lower numbers.

Two tanks REQUIRED, and at least two clerics.
