Find Telvosh (Western Wastelands at 757, -1677, -200 •) .
You say, 'Hail Telvosh.'
Telvosh says, 'You have come seeking Versikol, no doubt. Unfortunately for you, he has departed these lands in search of help for our cause. I have opted to take his place here, to continue enlisting adventurers in the fight against the [giants of Rymaz].'
You say, 'giants of Rymaz.'
Telvosh says, 'We are at war on this frozen wasteland - a fight for our very existance. The frost giants, whom follow one called Rymaz Sunbane, are an ever increasing threat. It is why I have left the sanctity of Dragonhorn: Rymaz has desecrated our kind for too long. And now, the fools seek to honor their so called [heroes], erecting statues of tribute in their honor.'
You say, 'heroes'
Telvosh says, 'Ahh, their heroes - Rymaz Sunbane, the Coralsha family, and Enforcer Husrag. These statues must be toppled in the name of the scale, Darlene - the giants of Stormkeep must be taught a lesson for toiling in our affairs for far too long. It is but a simple task, High Elf. Are you [prepared to topple them]?'
You say, 'prepared to topple them'
Telvosh says, 'Then first you must attain appropriate supplies. The giants have a depot within Faentharc Woods, where they store crates of supplies which they have bartered from the shadow dwarves of Thurgadin. You will need a bundle of explosives for each of the three statues, and perhaps something extra... though that is up to you to discover all of the necessities. Once the statues are destroyed, return with the shattered nameplates of each as proof.'
Find Stormkeep Supply Crate (Faentharc Woods • near the named giants) and loot Bundle of Explosives x3+.
Note: A tribute watchman may spawn after the use of each explosive. Then the Tribute must be blown up again. In this case, additional Bundle of Explosives are needed.
Use Bundle of Explosives (Place Explosive) on each of the three Tribute statues.
Failure
You begin casting Place Explosive.
You attract the attention of a nearby guard!
A tribute watchman says, 'Trespasser! You will pay with your life.'
A tribute watchman charges at the statue and removes the explosive, then turns his attention on you.
Success (Husrag)
You begin casting Place Explosive.
You place the explosive on the statue without drawing attention of the nearby guards.
You receive Shattered Husrag Nameplate from Tribute to Husrag.
Success (Sunbane)
You begin casting Place Explosive.
You place the explosive on the statue without drawing attention of the nearby guards.
You receive Shattered Sunbane Nameplate from Tribute to Sunbane.
Success (Coralsha)
You begin casting Place Explosive.
You place the explosive on the statue without drawing attention of the nearby guards.
Tribute to Coralsha died.
You receive Shattered Coralsha Nameplate from Tribute to Coralsha.
Delivery
Give Telvosh:
- Shattered Husrag Nameplate
- Shattered Sunbane Nameplate
- Shattered Coralsha Nameplate
Telvosh peers at the plates momentarily and notices something on them, 'All of these nameplates have the initials of one of their kind - presumably the maker of the statues themselves. By examining the text I can ascertain that the person is considered an artisan within Stormkeep, though from there it is up to you. Find this person and remove their head - return it to me... I wish to hold it as a trophy, much akin to the statues they once held dear.'
You gain 10000 experience!!
Gather and give Head of Artisan Korgal looted from Artisan Korgal (Stormkeep at -750, 1450, -120 •) to Telvosh.
Telvosh places the head on a nearby pike and laughs, 'He will not mock our kind any longer with his foolish statues. On behalf of the scale, accept this as a token of my gratitude. There are other choices for one of your standing, if you are not pleased with what I offer.'
You gain 10000 experience!!
