Talk:Format for adding new items

This is the guide for formatting new items. Any items not using the correct template need to be reformatted! There have been a lot of new additions not using the new template, and I've reformatted literally thousands of pages to use this template. Yep, the wikitool is out of date I'm afraid. That's why the items you added weren't showing up on the NPC's drop list: they need to be templated properly. ;) You can totally copy/paste the information from the wikitool beneath the infobox template and edit it from there though. If you click the name link on wikitool to open the item page to edit, you can click the "Item" link in Choose new page formatting style beneath the Save Page button to load a simple infobox template onto the blank page. You'll have to add in any effects fields and the such, but it'll save you a little time. - Rari Talk 03:26, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
