Find Kheechiz, Master of Stories (The Emerald Jungle at 3899, -2077, -344 • Near the lake) .
You say, 'Hail, Kheechiz, Master of Stories'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'Have you considered my proposal to help me more?'
You say, 'What do you have in mind?'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'Several things, actually!'
Kheechiz browses through the book.
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'Ah, here!'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'These stories of the common folk are quite enlightening, but they DO let some questions unanswered. So I'd like to learn the stories of the people of rank as well.'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'As you might know, my people had been quite secluded from the world untill [sic] recently. And while I know more than I'd care to learn about Kaezul, I know little about his allies, the Dark Elves, nor his enemies, the orcs.'
You say, 'What do you want to know about the orcs?'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'From what I understand, the orcs made quite some cultural advances since the last time we were active. Back then, they were savages, little more than animals, but now they seem to have a stronghold of their own, and give Kaezul a fight for his money. I'd like to learn how their culture evolved that much! For this, I'd like you to retrieve some mundane everyday life items from their stronghold. The things themselves do not have to be in a good condition, as long as they come from the center of their realm. As before, as little as three items should do! And mind you, its their culture we are interested in, so no weapons, please!'
You say, 'Artifacts of orcish culture? Oh well, I've had to produce less plausible things in the past...'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'Splendid, good luck!'

Journal Text: Kheechiz asked me to retrieve three mundane everyday life items from Turruj. No weapons.
Gather and give Kheechiz, Master of Stories:
- Corroded Silverware
- Dusty Glass
- Smashed Wood Carving
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'It appears no amount of orcs can stop you from achieving your goal. Haka, will you take notes on this?'
Haka grunts in agreement.
Kheechiz takes the items you hand him. His eyes turn white, as if he enters a trance. Shortly after, he starts talking with a voice not quite his own.
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'The Orcs were once the slaves of the ancient Iksar people, unwaveringly loyal due to the power of the Enchanters of Yclist.'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'When the city of Yclist sealed itself, it also cut off all the control it exerted over the Orcs. And the Orcs remembered everything. The Orcs revolted and the other slaves followed them into battle. The ancient Iksar Empire was no more.'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'The fall of the empire resulted in the steady decline of the Orcs. With countless enemies no leader capable of uniting the tribes, the Orcs' numbers quickly dwindled. Some, such as the bulk of the Dawn tribe, fled Ikisith completely..'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'But the rise of Kaezul changed everything. His leadership allowed the Iksar to dominate their lands once more, and when the Mist came, the only Orcish advantage, numbers, was rendered useless. But a common enemy was created, and the stage was set for a leader to emerge and shepherd the Orcs again.'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'This leader was Warchief Rujik Mok'tar. And he decreed that no non-Orc shall ever be allowed into their stronghold, ever.'
Haka takes note and writes down the story. After a quick proofread, he hands it to Kheechiz.
Kheechiz reads the story he just recited, and looks at you with curiosity.
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'So the orcs will not allow any non-orc into their stronghold, ever, and their defenses appear quite impenetrable. Yet you walked in and out, and lived to tell the tale, so to speak. This lead me to think that you may have a friend on the inside, and likely even a token that was gifted to you. Would you mind letting me see it?'
Your journal has been updated. [Stories of New: Orcs]
Journal Text: Kheechiz assumed I might have gotten a gift of sorts from a friendly orc at some point, and asked me to provide it.
You say, 'I had a diplomatic encounter with orcs before, and did indeed receive a gift.'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'Well, let me see it?'
Gather and give Kheechiz, Master of Stories:
- Burnt Stick
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'Haka, take notes!'
Kheechiz takes your burnt stick. His eyes turn white, as if he enters a trance. Shortly after, he starts talking with a voice not quite his own.
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'The rule of Rujik Mok'tar is not absolute. While most Orcs worship him as the avatar of Elael himself, there are many who resent his power and influence as well.'
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'The leader of the orcs opposing Moktar is Kroganh. He was the last leader of the Dawn orcs of Ikisith, before they became the Rujik. Moktar won leadership and influence, but kept Korganh alive as a show of good faith, declaring orc shall not kill orc. Korganh is in charge of the defense of Tur'ruj and the war with the Yiv. While an honorable man, he is a shadow of his former power, and is openly resentful of the new orcish empire. He is the one who let you in, so that you may slay his enemy.'
Haka takes note and writes down the story. After a quick proofread, he hands it to Kheechiz.
Kheechiz reads the story he just recited, and looks at you with astonishment.
Kheechiz, Master of Stories says, 'A civil war? Do they not see that they need to focus on the iksar threat? These foolish orcs, they might very well be spelling their own doom there! Anyways, take this inscription as a token of gratitude, and Haka should be able to adjust it to your liking.'
You receive Razadian Inscription of Affliction.
You have completed a quest. [Stories of New: Orcs]
Journal Text: Kheechiz gave me a Razadian Inscription. His apprentice Haka should be able to shape it to my liking.
