Those of us who carry the yclistine knives have all felt terrible ripples through its power over the last few days. The Triumvirate has definitely received my message.
I still do not believe that they have achieved anything close to out mastery of the yclistine, but there are still some troubling developments. When I reach for the power now, it feels tainted and polluted. I fear that the shamans are attempting to combine their own shamanistic rituals with the power of the yclistine, and it does not like their bloody magic.
The city guardsmen have been apprised of the situation and, to my surprise, have elected to side with the University. They have barred the main gates to the city and increased their sentries on the outer perimeter.
