Find Matos (Eastern Plaguelands  at -1712, 468  • Tunnel, between entrance and cave) .

You say, 'Hail, Matos'

Matos says, 'Hello there friend. My name is Matos, perhaps Leader Dannisin has told you of our plight? It is a never ending battle to find a cure for the plague we are afflicted with. Each of us have been given a task by the leader, in order to continue on through our struggles. The task handed down to me is one of collecting the food we will consume to retain our strength, though with the increased presence of the lunatics who roam the grassy lands beyond the tunnel, it is becoming a difficult task to complete.'

You say, 'Would you happen to need help?'

Matos says, 'Ah, yes! Help would be excellent. One of the food sources we gather is Puma Meat. The stringy meat is an excellent source of energy, which without we could not continue on. A Large supply of meat would be ever helpful, so for each three slabs of puma meat you bring, I will pay you what I can.'

Gather and give three Puma Meat to Matos.

Matos says, 'Excellent. Thank you for providing us with puma meat. Here, as promised, a bit of a payment. If you can recover more meat, I will gladly pay you for another three slabs.'

You gain 15000 experience!!

You receive 5 pieces.

Repeat this for a total of fifteen Puma Meat given to Matos.

Note: For each set you gain the same amount of experience and platinum.

After fifth turn in:

Matos says, 'Excellent. Thank you for providing us with puma meat. Here, as promised, a bit of a payment. Hmm, you know... while out on a recent foraging trip, I found this interesting crystal. You've helped me quite a bit, I couldn't possibly keep it when you may be able to put it to use.'

You say, 'A crystal, hmm? Sure, I might be able to find use of it.

Matos says, 'Very well then, here you are. You should hold onto it, it seems quite valuable... maybe there are others like it.'
