Assistance Penalty

Jump to navigationJump to searchAssistance Penalties occur when healing, damage, or debuffing affecting the MOB you or your group are engaging is not attributable to members of your group. This generally occurs if a PC not in your raid/group (or an NPC) engages the MOB your group is killing and does some significant damage, debuffs it, or heals your party.
The most obvious policy reason for this is to discourage Power Leveling.
