Walkthrough
Find A froglok tunneler (Stinger's Bog at -288, -625, -14 • South, along the zone wall, from Halls of Mielech) .
You say, 'Hail, a froglok tunneler'
a froglok tunneler says, 'Did he send you?'
You say, 'Who?'
a froglok tunneler says, 'I think you already know. O'Uct! About the tunnel! I was hoping I would get his attention!'
Note: Some dialog will happen automatically during this quest.
<Player Name> says, 'You're not digging a hole to Emberflow Caverns, are you?'
a froglok tunneler says, 'No, no. Think of me as Digger Froa'Akt. Get it?'
a froglok tunneler's eyes shimmer.
You say, 'Humor, and digging. So, this is a shortcut then?'
a froglok tunneler says, 'The tunnel to Mielech's Lair is mostly finished. But you'll need to clear the monsters out.'
<Player Name> says, 'What monsters?'
a froglok tunneler says, 'They get worse on the way down. I can get you all the way there, it won't be easy for you... Or maybe a better deal if you get rid of the big ones. They've killed enough mining crews at this point that we could use your help. Make your choice.'
Note: This is the first choice in the quest. It appears that [D1] will spawn froglok's and golem's, once you kill them you will get a free port to Mielech's Lair. [D2] will spawn A terrorsaur x2, once you kill them you will get a free port to Mielech's Lair. However, you will also get a an additional 5 "free" ports down you can use in the future. 5 seems to be the max number of free ports you can keep in your "bank".
- [D1] Easier Port Event
You say, 'I need to go all the way.'
a froglok tunneler says, 'As you wish, one trip down. You've gotta clear this all out though. Golems, frogs, its a nightmare!'
a froglok tunneler stifles a smile.
Kill the froglok's and golem's that spawn for a free port to Mielech's Lair.
a froglok tunneler sends you through the tunnel.
- [D2] Harder Port Event, +5 free port charges
You say, 'My powerful group is here for the big ones!'
a froglok tunneler says, 'As you wish, time for the big ones. They've been blocking the tunnel for a while. If you get them out of there I can give your group free passage for five trips. Learn their weakness.'
a froglok tunneler stifles a smile.
Kill two A terrorsaur's that spawn for a free port to Mielech's Lair.
a froglok tunneler sends you through the tunnel.
<Player Name> has learned the weakness of the terrorsaurs!
Note: Once you have received the emote "..learned the weakness of the terrorsaurs" you have to return to a froglok tunneler once again, since he sadly ports you before you are able to pick up the next step in the quest.
Return to A froglok tunneler (Stinger's Bog at -288, -625, -14 • South, along the zone wall, from Halls of Mielech) .
You say, 'Hail, a froglok tunneler'
a froglok tunneler says, 'Lookin' to go down? <#> trips left.'
You say, 'As you have seen, I know the weakness of the terrorsaurs. You know where they come from, right? Emberflow?'
a froglok tunneler says, 'You may have beaten a couple of terrorsaurs, but that doesn't impress me yet. Go down, into the depths of Mielech's Lair. Defeat the 4 aberrations: the dark-vile, the foul and ominous scarab, the pool of dissolved frogloks, and Cinderglomp! Return when you have discovered their weaknesses.'
Kill in Mielech's Lair until you have killed all four of the new mobs you are now flagged for:
- A froglok dark-vile
- A foul and ominous scarab
- pool of dissolved frogloks
- Cinderglomp
Note: Once you are flagged for this step, it seems there is ~1% chance when you kill any normal mob in Mielech's Lair that a new mob can spawn. Each of these fights are a little different. It seems to be random which one spawns so you will most likely get duplicates before you kill all four of them. You can also spawn more than one at the same time. I would assume these can be difficult for some, since they spawn a great deal of adds during their events. If you can't handle ~10-15 or so froglok's at one time I would avoid trying to do this quest. You can always try and if you are overwhelmed you can opt out of the quest to stop them from triggering on kill. Return to A froglok tunneler and tell him: "I have had enough of you, tunneler. Stop these maddening creatures from accosting my group!"
<Player Name> has learned the weakness of the a froglok dark-vile!

You say, 'Hail, a froglok tunneler'
a froglok tunneler says, 'Lookin' to go down? <#> trips left.'
You say, 'Have I satisfied your demands to slay the 4 aberrations?'
a froglok tunneler says, 'You have defeated the aberrations! You are truly a tunnel cleaner. Perhaps you can go back down and defeat something else for me. There is a tiny rock peeking out above the surface of the water in the deepest section of Mielech's Lair. Stand atop that rock and drop a terrorsaur's massive tail on the ground. Be warned, the fight won't be easy. Whatever might eat terrorsaur tails will take a strong group.'
Note: Gather a Massive Tail and return to the very depths of Mielech's Lair, just before where Mielech the Reanimated spawns in the water there is a little rock that sticks out of the water. Drop the Massive Tail on the ground and it should spawn Mielech`s Scintillating Cube in the water before you. You will be able to pick the Massive Tail back up once the mob is spawned.

a froglok tunneler says, 'There is always more to be done.'
<Player Name> says, 'Don't leave me hanging here - what needs to be done?'
a froglok tunneler says, 'Digging these tunnels has gotten slow. I think the crew needs motivation. I need you to bring me an efreeti lash from Emberflow. Using that, I will be able to keep them inspired to dig.'
Note: There are two different items with the same name Efreeti Lash either or will work.
Gather and give a froglok tunneler:
a froglok tunneler laughs, cracking the efreeti's brutal whip.
a froglok tunneler says, 'With this! I shall beat them mercilessly until the tunnels connect all of Dalaya!'
You say, 'Yeah, this is taking a dark turn. I'm not sure why I was helping you anyway.'
a froglok tunneler says, 'Your thoughts about the cruel treatment of those who toil digging these tunnels is of no import. You must now go to see Dormim in Oggok - she will have the answers you seek about Mielech and his creations.'

<Player Name> says, 'About that... Dormim drank some.'
a froglok tunneler says, 'Dormim did what! Don't tell me you've been drinking it too!'
You say, 'I... I've grown fond of the taste?'
a froglok tunneler says, 'Well, you both may be too far gone at this point, but we'll need to try anyway. Head down to Mielech's Lair and bring back the antidote. We need to reverse the psychedelic effect - check the fungus man area.'
Kill a fungus man (Mielech's Lair •) .
Note: Upon death of a fungus man you will either get a fail message or a new mob will spawn, unusual fungus man. Only the person that gets the kill shot will get the fail message, however all members on the step in the group will get credit once the quest mob is killed.
