This is my backseat dev page -- a list of content I've always wished would be finished/implemented/cleaned/etc.

Quests

  • Deity Quests
    • Tarhansar aug/quest (all but final fight implemented)
      • Some bugs in the latter stages of the quest
    • Enthann aug/quest (partially implemented)
    • Sivyana aug/quest (partially implemented)

  • Ryzan's Dagger quest (Rogue questline -- currently crushes the hopes of many young Rogues)

  • Haegra Malath faction quests / war between sporeborn and kye kye

  • History of the Great War -- planar/thaz progression questline?

  • Thievery questline -- would be interesting to expand the Rogue fence to all classes (i.e., give her a shop up in Newport) and add in a daily quest where the fence requests some combination of stolen goods -- especially if additional stolen goods are added to other areas -- e.g., NPC towns -- Baldakos / Stormkeep / Red Sun Goblins / etc.

Items

  • Band of Shojar item combine
  • Token system for Giant/Dragon loot
  • Token system for sworn-deity loot (e.g., loot from Nightmare turned in at Mercy)
  • Combine vs Ornate Dragon/Giant -- when Ornate was buffed some items end up being nerfed when upgraded to Combine -- fixed yet?
  • Port clicky aggregator -- not that it will ever happen =/
    • like the keyring where once used the clicky is added to a /cm ports or something similar
  • Combine Supremacy -- combine the combine!

Zones

  • Sanctuary of Malath (Malath deity area) -- intended to be the town in HMal?
  • The Silent Halls, City of the Numb and Frozen Heart -- Shojar zones -- got mashed together into one zone?
  • Nadox - rip?
  • Upper Thaz -- everything but loot is in?
  • Prison/Sanctum -- separating these into multiple (2+) zones?
  • Ikisith 2.0
  • Tasineth - locked rainbow
  • Runnyeye - locked storeroom (never found a key to it)

Tradeskills

  • Make Poison
    • Unimplemented effects on hybrid poisons
    • No high-end recipes (vendor dialogue indicates possible planar poisons)
    • Monkshood = Wolf's Bane (they are the same damn plant)
    • ammo proc? apply poison? weapon aug?
  • Tinkering
  • Jewelcrafting
    • +5 augs
    • Crowns / torques / bracelets?
  • Mining
    • Gem mining? Coal mining? Limestone mining? Clay mining? Sand mining?
    • Planar ore?
    • Chance to spawn hostile earth elementals?
    • The Deepshade -- can only mine iron ore -- wtf?
    • Red Sun Peaks / Lake Starfall / Oggok Mines / Bloodied Quarry -- can only mine rock lumps

Mechanics

  • Food/drink
    • Make them vital? I.e., you don't eat/drink you eventually die?
    • Make out of combat hp regen depend on quality of food? I.e., high-end crafted food = very rapid out of combat recovery.
  • Worn bane (i.e. on armor)
    • Remove altogether?
    • Shift to a tome system? Or AA system?
    • Quest flag system? E.g., camp of hunters in Shadowdale gives you a progressive quest where you have to accomplish feats against certain mob types -- and when you do you get a permanent, inherent (aug?) bane bonus vs that type.
  • Mules -- currently to stockpile tradeskill items one uses a mule account and sends items back and forth.
    • Would be neat to implement a warehouse zone / mule npc (house majordomo?) which will store TS type items (i.e., non-lore items) for you -- need to invest pp to purchase / upkeep the warehouse/mule.
  • Summoning Increment focus effect -- combined Companion Health/Strength
