Find Davad Tyaduesti (Greenmist Jungle  at -594, 2844  • The pillar structure along the west wall) in Greenmist Jungle.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'So, now that those water and earth spirits are out of the equation, let's focus on fire and air, shall we?'

Note: These can be completed in any order, and many can be acquired before receiving the quest.

Fire Spirits

You say, 'Who are the fire spirits, and what do we need off them?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Tarhyl, Master of all things Too Hot To Touch. Quite an unpleasant and destructive guy. Enthann, Fool-god of bravery and self-improvement. Sivyana, batshit insane mistress of cruelty and torment.'

Tarhyl

You say, 'What do we need from Tarhyl?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'I'm at a loss here. The book only states 'The best Protection against Tarhyl is the Protection of Tarhyl'. I'll leave it to you to figure out what that is supposed to mean.'

Gather a Protection of Tarhyl and return it.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'I didn't expect this to be this literal, but I think this is what we were looking for. Maybe.'

You have completed a quest. [Fighting Fire with Fire]

Enthann

You say, 'What do we need from Enthann?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Enthann the Brave. Enthann the fool, if you ask me! Fighting him or his minions won't do a thing, he will just value you for your bravery. Nonetheless, you will have to fight them, for I have a twolfolded task for you. The easy part is to get some of Enthanns precious valorium, a small orb of it is all we need. The tricky part is to piss off Enthann then. For that, we need to taint his precious valorium with cowardice. So bring me the orb and some coalesced cowardrice, and I will get you right on track again!'

Gather an Essence of the Coward and a Small Orb of Valorium

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Perfect, exactly what we need!'

You have completed a quest. [Fool turned Coward]

Sivyana

You say, 'What do we need from Sivyana?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Sivyana is a cruel mistress, a being that has never known mercy, finding release only in torturing others. Well, it's time to set her off balance! Remember that Essence of Mercy you brought back from the City of Mercy? You will have to get another one. With that essence, you need to travel to Sivyana's realm to infuse some of her victims with it.'

Gather another Essence of Mercy and bring it to A tormented victim.

a tormented victim says, 'what.. is.. that?'

a tormented victim closes its eyes and sighs in release, seemingly for the first time in an eternity. Your activity here doesn't seem to go unnoticed any more.

Tormentor Wrek`Tak says, 'Yuz stop dat! Mistress already MAD at yuz!'

Tormentor Wrek'Tak appears and attacks. Defeat him and loot a Mercy-soaked Heart of a Tormentor.

Return this to Davad.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'The heart of a tormentor, soaked with mercy. Sivyana must be so mad right now. More mad then usual, I mean.'

You have completed a quest. [Rest for the Wicked]

When complete with all 3 quests, Davad will tell you, '... and for all it counts, I think we are done with those fire spirits.'

Air Spirits

You say, 'Who are the air spirits, and what do we need off them?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Shiritri, Whore of the Heavens, goddess of lust and bliss. Marlow, the Dreamer, responsible for all those times you woke up at night screaming, bathed in sweat.'

Shiritri

You say, 'What do we need from Shiritri?'

'Shiritri, the Blissfull. Care bear goddess of Anything That Is Beautiful. Bring me something from her realm. Something pretty. Something that is alive. I have an idea how to turn it into something... else.'

Gather a Sunfish and return it.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'A Sunfish? Never had one before! Let me fry that really quick!'

Davad Tyaduesti fries the Sunfish while it's still alive. It smells horrible, and you can almost feel the fish's pain. To your horror, he then proceeds to eat it.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'What an excelent meal! And those fish bones should be enough for what we need.'

You have completed a quest. [A pretty pet from a petty goddess]

Marlow

You say, 'What do we need from Marlow?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'The Dreamer has been suspiciously quiet in the past few decades, just as if something happened to her around the time of The Fall. Whatever it is, this only makes things easier for us. As I understand it, there are several focusing gems for nightmares spread around Dalaya. Gather eight of those gems and grind them to dust in a forge. Return that dust to me.'

You receive a Nightmare Gems in Dalaya. Gather 8 gems from the list and combine them in a Forge to create Dust of Dreams. Return this.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'The crushed dreams of the Dreamer... quite poetic. Don't you agree?'

You have completed a quest. [The Dreams of a Dreamer]

When complete with all 3 quests, Davad will tell you, '... and for all it counts, I think we are done with those air spirits.'

Aug Upgrade

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Actually, we are done with both the fire spirits and air spirits. You should hand me the emblem so that I can further reinforce it.'

Hand him your Emblem of the Heretic.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'I thank you for your help. Now, would you have the courtesy to leave me alone?'

You say, 'Hail Davad Tyaduesti'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'What is it? I told you to get lost!'

You say, 'You forgot to give me back my emblem.'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Your emblem? YOURS? Did you really think I'd let you have this emblem I worked so hard to obtain? How naive can one be? You have never been more then a peon, a useful tool to do all the legwork while attracting the deitys' wrath. Unfortunately, your part in this is over, so now GET LOST FOOL!'

Responding to this will force Davad to attack. Bring a sizable group to slay him.
