Good Areas By Level
1-7 Anywhere just fight and cast to get your skills up
8-14 Blackburrow in groups, fast exp and you can learn your spells
15-20 Northern Badlands, don't be afraid to try some red spiders
21-29 Southern Badlands or Eastern Badlands, mix it up a bit
30-39 King's Pass, Eastern Badlands, Eastern Wastelandss, Oasis
51-57 Dragon Necropolis : kite yard mobs at zone in. watch out for Dark Boned Dragon
Solo Guide
1-4 Newport newbie mobs
4-9 Centaur Hills
9-11 The Darkmaw Sentinels between Blackburrow and Everfrost are easy, fast exp.
11 I did a combo between killing Large spiders in Western Badlands, and skeletons in Centaur Hills at the stones between Surefall and BB (at night).
11-14 Yard trash in Shrouded Island is decent exp. Poison beetles also drop a carapace that merchants will buy for 2-3pp.
13-15 I found Sundered Mountains to be good exp and OK coin. Go to the East side of the zone, and kill Adult Feeders, Hoppers, Wulfweres and Shamblers. Snare and pull them to zone wall to avoid adds. Hopper Skins can be sold for a few plat to tradeskillers. Bloodbane is supposed to drop from Vulfweres, but I haven't seen one yet. Shamblers are easy to kill with your Elemental DDs - Expulse Summoned will generally hit for 95 - for good experience. Levitate will come in very handy here, too. (Edited by Chinghis.)
14-16 Rotting plague gnolls in Western Badlands (on the eastern side of the zone by the shore) are fast exp. You have SoW and a decent DoT now, so you shouldn't even be touched if you kite them right. At 14 they will mostly con Red/Yellow, with a white con every now and then.
17 Go to the oasis and charm a croc. Place a damage shield on this croc and use him to attack an orc blood kin located along the south west wall on the map. Run off and start medding beside a different croc u can charm. Once that croc dies charm another croc to attack the orc blood kin; keep doing this until it dies very good way to kill things that you can't hit.
17-25 Northern Badlands, go to the bandit camp just south of the Eastern Badlands entrance, easy single pulls, great exp, plus they drop bandit heads for the Newport faction quests.
29-37 Eastern Badlands, charm a lion and go after gnolls. save there fur and turn them for exp to Gaurdsman Scott in the Northern Badlands 8500 exp and coin per two furs
40-46 Charm an Owlbear in Heartlands and go after the forest goblin scouts for exp and loot, when these turn LB go after the spiders, they have very low hp, good exp and drop silks which sells for plat, and later on go after the Owlbears. Keep an eye on track for the named spider.
49-55 Goblin Skull Mountains, from Greater Faydark zone line head west and go north into the second Large open area. There are approximately 10 A spectre's both static and wandering. They have VERY low hp, although they do hit very hard so be careful to stay out of range. At 49 you gain access to the spell "Fire" and with this you can very easily tri-kite them. Just Ensanre one, then ensnare a second, and then a third, take them South of the road and bunch them up by running them in circles. Watch for a wandering Silver Crown guard that will kill steal if they're within range. This should net between 12,000 - 15,000xp per kite.
55-?? The Tunnels of Lasanth is a great place to solo at 57. Not too many groups come here and the mobs from the entrance to the minos, and even around the "secret room" are easily solo'd. I just summon and buff my bear, and rot (Root + dot) the mutants. I'm not sure when their exp becomes trivial, but at 57 they give easy solo exp, and drop plat and occassional no drop items to boot!
60-65 Red Sun Peaks I can't remember exactly when I started doing this, but it's great xp. There is a goblin camp close to the druid ring. You can snare them up and kite them around using Spell: Winter's Claim. Not great cash or loot, but outstanding xp. Important to note, you can only kite 3 mobs at a time. It should be noted by now that druids can split mobs with harmony and even then at this level range have access to aoe roots and snares. The goblins are pretty close but can be done in 2 pulls if you really wanted.
Druid Charming Guide
14, is our minimal level to charm , and charming is the DRUID SOLO factor. The standard fair is to charm , drop a damage shield and heal when needed; However in higher levels This tactic is not anywhere near as effective and will result in either assisting through DOT's//Debuffs or CHAIN charming, and charming is impacted like all spells BY YOUR CHARISMA.
The more charisma you have , the less resists , the same applies to the focus mind specialization. Another point to bring up , in theory is the RANGE INCREMENT focus effect , which can mean more effective recharms.
Recharming , Most charms last up to 15 minutes or so (In my experience), thus recharming can assist in LESS Breaks , even though luck is required.
This is simple: Sit your pet , Back the HELL UP, cast your charm spell , and right before it finishes , make the pet go away (Forced break).
Some people would prefer to snare it , or even root before casting charm , but rooting becomes a pain later on when your root lasts as long as the charm. Luckily at level 14 , we get SOW also , so we can easily avoid most unwanted breaks with minimal damage. One can also use entangling weeds to slow the animal then cast charm.
