Donations

Running Shards of Dalaya is not free. The server box that SoD relies on to handle its hardware and bandwidth needs is rented from a colo, and too expensive for the server admin to pay for on his own. In essence, SoD needs donations to stay on its feet.

Making a Donation

Using the SoD Donations  page, you can make whatever donation you'd prefer using either PayPal or Moneybookers.

Loose Donations

A loose donation is just that, a one-time donation of any sum you'd like to give (minimum $1).

Silver Donation

A Silver Membership is a continous donation of 4 EUR (roughly $5) each month directly towards the server. A silver membership entitles you to an Idol of the Donator.

The silver donation reward item can be obtained by silver, gold and platinum donators by using #silveritem.

Gold Donation

A Gold Membership is a continous donation of 8 EUR (roughly $10) per month. This entitles to the same benefits as the Silver membership, plus a pair of Boots of the Gold Donator and unlimited Vial of Dye.

The gold donation reward item can be obtained by gold and platinum donators by using #golditem. In addition, #dyeitem will summon seven reagents that can be used to dye armor for three days.

Platinum Donation

A Platinum Membership is a continous donation of 20 EUR (roughly $25) a month. This entites you to the same benefits as the Silver and Gold membership, along with access to a Pocket Plane zone via the Amulet of the Platinum Donator that has various vendors selling trinks and fashion items, a banker, some toy NPCs (such as one that turns you into a dragon) and easy access to the Mansion of Portals. It also makes you a damned cool person.

The platinum donation reward item can be obtained by platinum donators by using #platinumitem.
