Find Miner Yrenis (Oggok Mines  at -2173, -1705, -12  • Near Entrance to Mine) .

Miner Yrenis tells you, "A Nilvalk. They're little black beasts, vicious and bloodthirsty creatures that infest these mines. I was heading back to the mining camp from Oggok when one of them jumped me and stole my ration pack. Hey, you look able to take care of yourself. Maybe you could track down the creature and get my pack back?"

You say, "I can do that. Where did it go?"

Miner Yrenis tells you, "It ran down the tunnel to the right and up the little waterfall - there are solid handholds in the cliff wall, and you should be able to climb it without any problem. Get my pack back - and teach the beast that stole it a lesson."

Find Forager Hyk (Oggok Mines  • Top of the waterfall) .

Forager Hyk tells you, 'Another speaker of Valk? You come to murder Nilvalk, perhaps? This one will not die on its knees!'

First Option: Aiding Forager Hyk

You say, 'You have something that does not belong to you. Why did you steal from the miner?'

Forager Hyk tells you, 'Speaker of Valk wishes reasons? Speakers come, attack us, drive us away from our homes, and cut us off from our food, speaker says this is not Valk. But when Nilvalk steal food for hungering Nilvalk, speaker says this is Valk? This one thinks speaker is sight-blinded.'

You say, 'So you stole the ration pack because the miners are cutting you off from your food sources?'

Forager Hyk tells you, 'This is without Valk - it is the truth.'
