Tomes
Tomes can be thought of as Alternate Advancement part 2. Due to client restrictions, new AA's can not be added, so tomes are used in their place. Various tomes exist in the game with more on the way. Tome is a blanket term, and said items aren't necessarily called Tome.
A Tome must be 'filled' with exp to get the benefit. This is done by right clicking the Tome. You will receive a message, and from then forward your normal exp bar will move again. When it is filled, you have finished your current Tome, and it can be disposed of. You can only learn from one Tome at a time. You can actually split exp between Tomes and AA's if you so desire.
The most common Tome by far, the Codex of Power, can be bought in Erimal library. They cost about 1.7k plat per volume, with 5 volumes total. To use them, you need 250+ AAs to begin with.
