Number of drills has increased considerably over the past few months. Likely needed with all these fresh consripts. Doesn't explain why we have so many of them though.
Rumors came from the north. Some sort of uprising near the university. Nothing more than protests so far, but things might escalate.
Captain gave a speech today. Rumors were true. We march north at dawn to cull them.
