You say, 'Hail, Leader Dannisin'
Leader Dannisin says, 'Hail, traveler, and welcome to our camp. We call ourselves the Survivors, those who have not succumbed entirely to the plague that holds this once blossoming land in its grip. Though it may have rotted our bodies away, our minds remain sound, and from here we watch over the poor tormented creatures that live in this land and seek a way to end the plague. Feel free to share our shelter. Mesklin over there can provide you with provisions if you need.'
You say, 'How do I end the plague?
Leader Dannisin says, 'The disease is no ordinary affliction, but rather an experimental weapon unleashed by one of Kaezul's laboring minions - Lasanth the Alchemist. It is a terrifying and rapidly spreading affliction that causes the body to decay while the victim still lives. At the same time, other portions of the body suffer a horrendous growth, as muscles enLargen, rippling through the skin and leaving it hanging in tatters. On most victims, the plague also ravages the brain, turning the afflicted into a simple-minded killer. Why we have escaped this faith I am unsure, but perhaps the Lady Althuna saw fit to protect us so that we can fight it. To begin to combat the disease, we must understand it, however. Traveler... are you interested in helping me with this task?
You say, 'I'll help you'
Leader Dannisin says, 'Thank the Lady, for perhaps she has sent us a savior. The lands outside this cave are ruled by those whose minds have been ravaged by the horrors of this disease. In simple-minded ferocity, they now worship the Disease Lord, Gradalsh, and have carved out a territory in the surrounding area that they protect fiercly, slaying any trespassers and taking their belongings. A few days ago, one of the cultists attacked Matos when he was collecting food, forcing him to slay the lunatic. The man was carrying a strange vial which seemed to contain a distilled version of the disease. I did some experiments upon it, but it is spent now, and I have no more. If you could get me four more such vials, I could make vital progress in understanding this plague.

Give four Vial of Diseased Filth to Leader Dannisin.

Leader Dannisin says, 'Althuna delivers! My friend, you have done well. The plague-men are no feeble adversaries. I will need a little time to look at this... There! I believe I have distilled an antidote that will combat the more superficial effects of the plague. This is no help to us, but it may prevent others from getting infected in the early stages of the disease. Please, have some. It may be invaluable to you. If you return later, I will have studied this more and might have further tasks for you.'
