Note: I presume that there are other rewards for other classes, but being a beastlord, this was mine.
Dialogue
You say, "Hail, Elma"
Elma says, "Greetings, Barbarian. Have you come to Erudin seeking the lost relics of the First City?"
-[Yes, I have]
You say, "Yes, I have."
Elma says, "Ahh, yes... unfortunately my husband sought them as well. The First Ruins were once a great city of the Erudin civilization. Though the coming of the portal to Tarhyl's domain brought about its destruction. The grand city, in its prime, held many books in the great library. Everything from recipe books to tomes of lore and legend. This is what my husband wished to locate, an old recipe detailing the process to craft armor that the defenders of the city used. He has been gone several years now, and I have carried on in his passing in hope that I would one day find someone willing to search for the book he longed to recover."

You say, "I might be able to help you out."
Elma says, "By Althuna! You would risk your life to recover the recipe book? I am quite certain that it is no longer intact... the cataclysm which destroyed the city has likely badly damaged many of the books as well. However, there is still a chance you may be able to piece the book together, if you can locate its bindings. Once you have done this, simply place all the pages inside and return the bound book to me."
You are looking for 6 pages and one binding that drop randomly from various mobs inside and around the pool at the bottom of the castle in the Ruins of First City:
- Erudian Blacksmithing - Page I
- Erudian Blacksmithing - Page II
- Erudian Blacksmithing - Page III
- Erudian Blacksmithing - Page IV
- Erudian Blacksmithing - Page V
- Erudian Blacksmithing - Page VI
- Bindings of Erudian Blacksmithing
Combine all of these and hand the completed Erudian Blacksmithing Volume 1 to Elma.
Elma says, "Oh my, the book! Thank you, Barbarian. Though my husband has passed, I am sure he looks on from the afterlife with a smile, knowing the book has finally been recovered. Please accept this, it was one of his creations."
You gain experience!
You receive Forged Ebon Warhammer from Elma.
