Spell Parser

Hey Velleity - I added the spellparser into your username space. In order to use it, you will need to copy/paste a line from spells_us.txt into the User:Velleity/Spell Parser/Unimplemented Spell page (there are lines indicating where in the code - Mielech's Curse is loaded in there atm.) The spell will then be viewable at User:Velleity/Spell Parser. That page will show the wiki code at the top, the spell template (preview) at the bottom. At the tippy top it will say Currently viewing: Spell Name (Edit | Purge | Change) Doesn't link from spell page. The red "Doesn't link from spell page" will turn green and indicate that it DOES link from a spell page if you are viewing a player spell. It will also change the Spell Name to Spell: Spell Name. AAs sometimes change to AA: Spell Name, but honestly, they're incredibly hard to recognize for the parser. The Edit option will open the linked 'Spell Name' directly in edit mode. Purge is like a super-refresh. And Change will take you back to Unimplemented Spell. If you are planning on parsing more than one spell at once, I'd suggest keeping the Unimplemented Spell page and the Parser page open at the same time and switching between them (because load times are TERRIBLE.) You may also get some white pages with errors on them after saving - we've been seeing this for over a year now, and usually the page saves anyway, but it tends to freak people out at first. If you experience any irregularities, just let me know! I hope you enjoy using this. - Rari Talk 23:35, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

You broke your parser - be careful of deleting text from the Unimplemented Spell page. I fixed it for you (that effect is already on the wiki though) - Rari Talk 02:12, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
