Option 2: something greedy

She tells you to seek out a halfling in the forsaken city of Rivervale, 'come back with the treasure you find' which means go to Rivervale at night, talk to Jordor the Lost (conned even to a lvl 25) near the inn (not tavern) which ends up in you killing him (no faction loss) and looting Jodor's Map which basically says this is a treasure map, there appears to be a X marked on something labelled 'the old tree' in whispering forest. The old tree (21, -210) is near the great wall to the right of the road, its targetable and once you find it, hail it(have a shovel in your inventory) and it was say something along the line of-you dig just infront a tree and something is uncovered behind the tree.

Kill the halfling skeletons and a chest will appear behind the tree. Attack it and loot it for Jodor's Treasure. Take this back to Tresaria and you'll recieve 100k experience (doubly verified) then she'll advance you forward in the quest and suggest you take the treasure to a jewelcrafter in either Oggok or Newport. Giving Jodor's Treasure to Andos (next to the pottery wheel at night) in Oggok, or Garlii (during the day) resulted in him buying it for 125 platinum. Giving the treasure to Roslyn Ironforge in Northern Newport results in her buying it for 125 platinum as well.

(Note: If doing the quest with more than one player/character, only one person must have the map from Jodor and shovel to get the halfling skeletons to spawn. Each other player can then loot their Jodor's Treasure from the chest without having to get the map from Jodor themselves.)
