The following is a list of commands available in Shards of Dalaya. Commands not listed here are most likely not implemented!

  • (parentheses) are optional - without them, the command usually defaults to your target.
  • [brackets] are required for the command to work.


Basic commands

/consider or /con provides difficulty level of target
/feedback write feedback to GMs (not sure if it's implemented)
/style [#] or /s [#] change fighting stance
/played gives your characters birthdate and how long he/she has been playing
/ignore (name) shows ignore list and adds/removes people on your ignore list
/anonymous or /anon toggles anonymous status on/off
/afk toggles away from keyboard status on/off
/assist (name) (on/off) targets your target's target
/duel (name) offer a duel to another player or accept a duel offered to you
/decline declines a duel offered to you
/quit exits game (to server select menu)
/stopsong stops all bard songs playing
/friend (name) shows friend list and adds/removes people from your friend list
/shield (name) activates shield command on your target
/petition file a petition to the GMs
/motd displays the message of the day
/corpse (name) summons the targeted (or your own) corpse
/cmd displays a list of EQEmu commands
/time provides current time in game and in real life
/random (X) [Y] rolls a random number between X (default=0) and Y
/exit or /ex exits game (to Windows)
/loot loot targeted corpse
/roleplay or /role toggles roleplay status on/off
/follow (name) autofollow target
/report (name) sends a report of a player to GMs
/surname [last name] sets your last name
/trackplayers [on/off] toggles whether or not players are in your tracking
/stoptracking used to stop tracking target
/help displays list of commands
/lfg brings up looking for group window (not implemented) or turns on/off lfg status
/sit toggles sit/stand
/stand causes you to stand
/book (page number) causes you to sit down and open book
/cast [spell number] casts a memorized spell
/doability [ability number] uses an ability (regular, combat, and AA abilities)
/whotarget get information from targeted player
/target [name] sets your target to the name given
/camp saves your character and logs off safely
/attack toggles attack on/off
/note brings up the note window, useful for leaving notes to self
/tracksort [Normal, Distance, Consider, Rdistance, Rconsider] used to organize how tracking is displayed (Ranger only, default and only mode for druids/bards is normal)
/trackfilter [red/yellow/white/blue/green] used to specify what /con colors you want to see in tracking
/gems opens up a window with a small minigame of Gems
/inspect (name) inspects your target's armor
/open opens targeted container
/charinfo or /char tells you where your character is currently bound
/hotbutton [button name] used to create a hotbutton
/dismount used to dismount from your ride (mounts are not implemented)
/bugreport or /bug used to file a bug report to GMs
/memspellset [name] used to automatically memorize a spell set and save it as [name]
/autoinventory automatically places item on your cursor in your inventory
/viewpetition view your own petition that you filed to the GMs
/deletepetition delete your own petition that you filed to the GMs
/bodytint used to change the color of your armor (tinting is not implemented)

#save saves your character on the server
#endsong stops all songs
#petname [name] set your pet's name
#petinv Displays a listing of everything your pet has equipped
#bind binds you to your current location
#suicide used to kill yourself and go to bind spot (helpful if stuck)

#pointbuy [category] [input] used to spend your fame points
#changename [new name] used to change your name (only works if GM flagged you)
#specialize [skill] [amount to spend] used to see/spend specialization points
#guestlock [on/off] [password] Turns character guest lock on or off
#guestunlock [password] Removes guest lock until you log off
/outputfile inventory Creates a text file in game folder of inventory (bank and backpacks) of character initializing the command

/autosplit turns autosplit on/off (split money automatically when you loot)
/shownames [off/1/2/3/4] or /show [off/1/2/3/4] changes settings for how names are shown
/mp3 [command] used to change/play songs through the in-game mp3 player
/log toggles logging on/off
/hidecorpses [none/all/allbutgroup] shows/hides corpses
/fastdrop [on/off/never] turns on/off the confirmation for dropping items
/usercolor [number] [red] [green] [blue] changes color for specific text
/dynamiclights toggles dynamic lighting on/off
/lootnodrop [always/sometimes/never] changes settings for looting no-drop items
/reversesound [normal/reverse] switches left and right sound channels
/invwinlabels toggles description for full screen inventory on/off
/mousespeed [speed multiplier] changes the speed of your mouse
/showspelleffects [on/off] toggles spell effects on/off (helpful to have OFF during raids)
/combatmusic [on/off] toggles combat music on/off when fighting
/mixahead [1...100] sets the amount of sound to pre-mix
/safelock [password] locks controls until you type in /safelock [password] again
/tgb [on/off] toggles whether or not you can cast group buffs on other groups
/showgrass [on/off] toggles grass on/off (OFF for slightly faster performance)
/dopropertinting [on/off] toggles on/off proper tinting (tinting is not implemented)
/viewport [x] [y] [width] [height] sets the position and size of the viewing window
/loadskin (skin name) loads a UI skin
/toggleinspect [on/off] toggles ability to inspect with right-click
#blockbuffs [1/0] prevent/allow players not in your group to cast friendly spells on you
#explock [1/0] lock/unlock your ability to gain experience

/r [text] send a reply message to the last person that sent you a message
/channel [channel] changes your current chatting channel (ooc, guild, say, group, etc)
/yell yell for help (limited range)
/language [language #] view or set your current language
/chatfontsize [0...5] sets the size of the font in the active chat window
/rtarget [text] sends a reply message to your targeted player
/clear clears the active chat window
/gu [text] used to talk in guild chat
#rt [text] used to talk in the cult channel (RP-marked characters only)
#bt [text] used to speak to your adventuring band

Variables

When using chat, there are some commands that return special phrases. These can be useful for telling your group exactly what you're pulling.

Example: "Get ready! %T is coming and %S looks pissed!" might yield...
"Get ready! a green moss snake is coming and it looks pissed!"
Variable Function
%T returns the target's name (i.e. - "a green moss snake")
%S returns the target's subject gender ("he", "she", or "it")
%O returns the target's object gender ("him", "her", or "it")
%P returns the target's possessive gender ("his", "hers", "its")
%R returns the target's race (i.e. - "human")

Chat channel commands

These are commands for creating and managing custom chat channels
Any commands that start with /chat can also be input with a semicolon instead, so /chat kick can be typed simply as ;kick. Arguments in angle brackets < > are required and arguments in square brackets [ ] are optional.

/join <channel> [,channel:password] Create a new channel or join an existing one
/leave <channel> [,channel] Leave a channel
/leaveall Leave all channels
/list [channel] List all channels you're on, list all players in a channel if specified
/1 <message> Sends a message to the specified channel number. You can be in up to 10 channels
/autojoin <channel> [,channel:password] Automatically joins you to the given channels
/chat set <channel> [,channel:password] Leave all current channels and join the given channels
/chat oplist <channel> List the owner and any moderators on the channel's oplist
/chat grant <player> <channel> Grant a player moderator priviliges on a given channel
/chat invite <player> <channel> Invite a player to join a channel bypassing any password restrictions. Restricted to moderators
/chat kick <player> <channel> Kicks a player from your channel
/chat moderate <channel> Moderates the channel so only voiced players and moderators can speak
/chat password <new password> <channel> Sets a password on a channel. Using the word "remove" without quotes will remove the password on the channel
/chat voice <player> <channel> Give a player voice so they may talk if the channel is moderated
/chat setowner <player> <channel> Transfer ownership of a channel to another player
/chat toggleinvites Toggle notification of channel invites on/off

The value [charname] can be left blank if the intended character is targeted.

The value [rank] is a value 0 - 5. Guild ranks are : Member(5, 4) / Officer (3, 2, 1)/ Leader (0)

The values for [permission] are :

  • HearGU (see guild chat)
  • SpeakGU (speak in guild chat)
  • Invite (invite characters to the guild)
  • Remove (remove characters from the guild)
  • Promote (promote characters in the guild)
  • Demote (demote characters in the guild)
  • MOTD (set the guildmotd)

The value [0/1] for all ranks must be given as 0 for no or 1 for yes.

Adventuring Band commands

#bt [text] used to speak to members of your adventuring band
#bandcreate used to create an adventuring band (in your name)
#banddelete used to completely disband your adventuring band
#bandinvite used to join or invite a player into your adventuring band
#bandremove used to remove yourself from an adventuring band
#bandkick [name] used to kick a member out of your adventuring band
#bandlist used to list the members in your adventuring band

#listsend [name] [plat] used to send the item on your cursor to another player
#listsold [name] provides a list of items the given player is selling
#listprice [plat] sets the amount of platinum the next listed item will cost

(pickup the item using your cursor then type #listprice #pp where # is the amount your selling for)

#listadd [description] adds you to the active sellers for the next 4 days (description is a 10 to 70 character description of stuff your selling ex. "Mostly druid and enchanter gear...")
#listview [amount] views the next [amount] of sellers in the active sellers list
