Verla Airdancer says,"While I wish to continue your lessons, they must be put on hold for now. Sergeant Halsey has put out a call-to-arms for all able-body citizens of Newport. The gnolls of Blackburrow have begun to dig a tunnel which appears to be leading to Surefall Glade. Should they succeed in completing the tunnel, it will offer passage to Surefall, behind the lines of those guarding the glade. Stop their advance by killing their diggers and returning two of their mining picks. I will present then to Sergeant Halsey, to let him know that Surefall is once again safe from the Blackmaw gnolls."

Collect two Blackmaw Mining Pick and give them to Verla Airdancer.

Verla Airdancer says,"Well done, player. With the threat of the gnolls out of the way, there is but one final lesson for you."
