Spiderkin Webspinners

Hello Rari,

the item summoned is called "Spiderkin Silk" (like the regular dropped one) and has the standard Silk graphic.

Xandroz 05:46, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Edited / added Items from War

Hi Rari, Xandros and me worked on two items dropped from War.

Added infos to "Metallic Grabbers", dropped from "Yssa the Hunter" in War. No idea, why zone is not shown in infobox at mob, at Yssa-page the item is not added as loot, also it shows not up at War page on loot list.

Same is with the new created article "Cord of Preserved Thought", dropped from "Patriot Zsinne".

What are we doing wrong? Duvinya 17:10, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Edit: Same is with Keeper's Medallion, I changed it to new template, hoping it adds to focus effect item list, but it shows not up there. Is there something else to do to add an item to lists? Duvinya 17:13, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Of those three, Keeper's Medallion was the only one added correctly. Metallic Grabbers (div) and Cord of Preserved Thought (div) were both using mob= instead of mob1=. There were some additional fixes that needed to be made to both, see the respective div links to see what else I changed. I'm not going to say it's 100%, but Template:Itemstats does have documentation. If you need anymore help, or have any other questions, lemme know.
Oh! And as for Keeper's Medallion showing up - sometimes items do not immediately show up. In these cases, resave the related categories (without changes). If that doesn't work, try purging the page in question (in this case, Range Increment) and they will usually pop up. I've already done this for this Range Inc III. *edit* The war loot page is currently only formatted to support old-format items. That will be updated eventually. - Rari Talk 19:30, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your guidance. - Not sure, why "Recommended level of 55" was removed at Cord of Preserved Thought, it shows not up on Fomelo, but ingame it's there and working (confirmed with a link to a lower level alt char). Duvinya 13:21, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Fomelo2Wiki does not support recommended levels - I try to keep an eye out and add them manually when converting items to new format, but I know I've missed a few. - Rari Talk 22:50, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Edited "Major's Decree" to new format, but was again not able to let it show up on focus effect page. I resaved Casting Speed Increment page, but nothing; did it with both edit buttons (at tab and at "related items" - which one is the right one for this?). I don't understand what you meant above (at Keeper's Madaillon), to try purging the page. Duvinya 22:52, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

I assume you was trying to purge the page Casting Speed Increment when the page you needed to purge was Category:Items with Casting Speed Increment III effect (Linked to on the bottom of Mayors Decree page). Laurane 23:19, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I created that confusion with my last reply; I had already purged the Range Inc category. Every item is automatically put into certain categories, based on the information given about them. The names will always be related: like if an item has an effect, it will be Category: Items with x Effect. If these categories show up red, they need to have {{DPLitemslist}} added to them (which can be done easily by clicking [Special Category] in the new page formatting box on create). The x page will not update with that item until the item appears in the category's table and if the table already exists, the category needs to be purged to make that happen. This actually happens automatically ~ once a week (it used to be closer to once a month, x_x) but if you want to see your changes appear on the page immediately, purge the category manually. How to purge? Hit  Edit  on the category page, make no changes, hit Save. You should see the page has updated to include the new item. - Rari Talk 23:59, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

New look

I've noticed a few places that have white text on a white background...

  • 'my prefrences' - One or more things on every tab.
  • 'editing any page' - Bottom of the page, example of how to sign a comment.
  • 'Any page with 3+ headings' - The word "Contents".

And on search results, under each hit is unreadable dark green text on a grey background. Laurane 19:08, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

  • editing any page - fixed - Rari Talk 00:09, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
  • Any page with 3+ headings - fixed - Rari Talk 00:09, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Tables on the Mining page look a little screwy with the Dalayan Dark style. Laurane 09:58, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Blue text on dark grey background =(

The "treasure hunting" link on the front page is the best example that I can give (scroll down to where the loot is linked). It is almost impossible to read the loot items once you have already navigated to the linked item. The link becomes a dark blue (not that the light blue is any easier to read) and it would be greatly appreciated if you could do something with that page. Personally I do not like the new look (very hard on the eyes) unless all text is made light colors.

edit: Just realized that the permanent navigation boxes to the far left are blue on grey background as well.

JarL

I opted for bright over light on the dark background, because in some situations, the links appear over lighter colors (such as in the infoboxes). If you have any suggestions, though, feel free to share them. *edit: Since your original comment, the background was darkened further in an effort to make it easier to view. If you really can't abide the dark look, there are other skin options in the preferences tab (I'd suggest Modern, it's very nice) - preferences is something I'm still having issue with, actually, so you may need to highlight the text on the skins page in order to read it. Obviously, this skin is still being edited, and hopefully we can come to something that works well for everyone. I'm still trying to figure out a few things with it, but there have been many requests for a 'darker' look. - Rari Talk 23:47, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

The darker gray looks a lot better.

Ikisith Solo Entry Quest

Hello Rari,

added a quest with aboves name. Since there is no Journal entry for that I made the quest name up myself, feel free to chance it as needed. Will add more info and dialogue later.

~~ Xandroz

Sure thing. I moved the suggested range to 61 - 65 (that parameter must match up to a range found at Quest timeline) but otherwise I'll give you time to poke and prod at it. Also, instead of typing your name at the end of a comment, just use ~~~~. It'll add your signature (you can test it with Show Preview to see what I mean.) - Rari Talk 16:44, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi Rari, I got the complete walkthrough for Ikisith Solo entry Quest on log file. Zone for Solo quest is not "Hate's Fury, The Scorned Maiden", but "Hates Fury, The Scorned Damsel" (without apostroph) - what I was told when I entered the zone. Seems this is hatesfuryb.

As I don't find a section to create a zone site I guess it is up to you to do so. I expect, NPC's are different from HF, The Scorned Maiden (hatesfury) and Cabin Boy Shin and other NPCs should be shown on the right zone as well as above quest -> HF, The Scorned Damsel (hatesfuryb). Will finish the quest / zone entries when you respondend. Duvinya 13:52, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Ok, started to do that for a second, but from what I can gather, the NPCs are the same (you just don't have to fight them in Damsel) - I'm going to make Hates Fury, The Scorned Damsel redirect to the current page. The difference between the two should be listed in the zone description. That work alright? - Rari Talk 15:41, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Ok, will add both zone names to NPC's info box.

The quest text is finished, though the evil part is missing. I skipped some of the first quest dialogues between the two NPCs, as it is not really important for the quest itself and shortens it a bit ... it's long enough =). If you want to see ALL text added, please let me know.

I hope it is ok I made some notes between the quest texts and there will not be much deleted, as more as this is not a "classic" quest with an item reward, and I kept it as short as possible. BTW: The note in a questdialogue box is quest text and intended to be in a yellow box. Duvinya 18:12, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Notes are fine; you don't have to write note on each and every one, either ;) Made a few edits to clean it up. If you could add the missing text, that would be stellar. - Rari Talk 20:46, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

White on light yellow parts of Dark Dalaya

I have found a few problems with the Dark Dalaya. The same problem I presented the other day with the necro pets page is appearing in other places.

On the main quest page you see some of the white box with light yellow text color where you cannot read anything except the blue links. Another example of this is found on your talk page on the right side with the box. Will report more as I find them.

On the Mysterious Summons page, you can see in the info box the opposite of what I am saying above with a light yellow box with white text, again unreadable. --sayen 16:09, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Ok, my talk page navigation bar is fixed! Main Quest is being broken down into smaller pieces, but I'll try to bandaid the random tables people have added onto that page so they're readable in the meantime. I really am not planning on fixing those the items using the old template. Hopefully it'll encourage people to help convert them to the new format. Thanks for the input so far! :D - Rari Talk 18:18, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
I think your talk page navigation bar is being a rebel by being so white. Just my thought, maybe try that lovely red you used on a few of the pages?--sayen 22:04, 28 February 2010 (UTC) P.s. community Portal pages are a color that blends in with the links colors making it hard to read and hurtful on the eyes.
Community Portal and Help: That blue is going to be replaced on both. I'm doing color research on that very issue atm. - Rari Talk 22:10, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

New editor

I'm learning the formating. but also would like to know how to note that a quest's reward (items) are only for a certain race as well as class. I will keep reading in the wiki on the formatting. If you can point me in the best direction, that would be apreciated too.

--MichaelFTrevino 04:48, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

It depends on the context. Is the quest race restricted or are different rewards given to different races? If the quest is race restricted, use
| racereq =
| racereq2 =
| racereq10 =
If the rewards differ base on race, if should be noted in the rewards section (at the bottom) like
===Erudite reward====
You receive '''Bandages!'''

===Iksar / Gnome reward===
You receive '''Water Jug!'''
And in the itemreward parameter, include the same information
itemreward= [[Bandages]] (Erudite)
itemreward2= [[Water Jug]] (Iksar / Gnome)
If neither of these solutions works for what you're trying to do, let me know what it is you're trying to do a little more clearly and we'll work from there. - Rari Talk 04:57, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

I apologize for not being more descriptive. The Quest is for a Warrior in Grobb. The reward is a set of armor that's use is restricted to Trolls and Iksars. Though other races can get the armor and complete the quest (AFAIK), they cannot use it. I started the quest without knowing this information. It would have been good to know. I would like to make this information availible. --MichaelFTrevino 10:08, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Ah. Added a note to Rusty Barnacle Covered Armor quests and the involved quests. If you completed them anyway, maybe you could fill in some of the holes so doing them won't have been a complete loss? - Rari Talk 16:59, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Stackable items

Hi

I try to update the wiki of the best i can. And i like to be the more precise possible. There is a thing who could be add in the items description for this. it is a item can be stackable or not. Could add a tag and write stackable on the item or an little image just up of it with a little 1 in a square.

Minosubb

Added to the itemstats template. You can use stacks = 1 to show an item stacks. - Rari Talk 21:08, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

i saw what you done, i don't know it's the best choice. what do you think about something like this who could be more graphical?

1

and nothing if | stacks = 0 or not specified
Actually, for 0 or 1, it is the same thing. there is nothing to show in the modif. i precise it is no stack , it is stack , and i don't know if it is stack .
for the bot you propose, it could be good. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Minosubb (talk).

Like I told you, if you make a list of the items that need to be marked, I'll run the bot so you don't have to do it by hand. As for your proposed change, no. - Rari Talk 00:23, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

does 0 could mean no stackable and 1 mean Stackable. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Minosubb (talk).

No. If it stacks, use stacks = 1. Otherwise, don't use stacks = at all. - Rari Talk 18:48, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

Rari!

Hey there, I figured out that I could register on the wiki from work, which means since I can't actually play SoD while I'm here, at least I can add information to the wiki for everyon!

If you see me making any mistakes in formatting, or have any good tips let me know. If there's any sections in particular that you feel would benefit the community the most if they were updated, let me know and I'll see if I can add anything! - Susvain

Always very happy-making to wake up to new, excited editors! I've patrolled all of the morning's edits, including yours - there were a few errors, but you seem to be getting a handle on things. Umm, the cliffnotes: Don't use [[]] on mob1 (but do use mob1 over mob/zone). So far, you seem to have everything else in hand, but you know, just gimme a buzz if you have any questions. - Rari Talk 15:26, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah I couldn't figure out how to get Virtue to show up as one of Enthann's drops but I see what you did. And now I've spammed up the thaz immaculate boots with changes because I didn't know mob1 aparently doesn't work with the old item format. Guess I should start using Preview more! Susvain 17:47, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Basically, old format is bad news bears - any item you can move from old format to new format ( {{Item infobox}} to {{Itemstats}} ) helps. - Rari Talk 18:00, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Lok`Atal, The Deep One in thaz once again isn't showing his entire loot table (He drops the immaculate boots for thaz class armor). Any idea why that is? Other mobs in thaz look like they're formatted the same way, but they show all of the correct items. Susvain 13:18, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

At the bottom of any item using the new format will be links to stuff like Category:Dropped by Lok`Atal, The Deep One, if the page does not exist create it and use the template Special Category, If the page already exists you can force it to update the npc loot list by editing the page and hitting save (with no changes). Laurane 13:34, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Icy Desolation

Icy Desolation is an elemental focus, so you might want to remove it from Focus Effects page and add it to cold focus effects or whatever (it's 7% Cold Focus) Nwaij 13:17, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Wiki tool

The Myers Wiki Tool is great, I wish there wes something for items not listable by the fomelo. Druue 03:59, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Well, it can be a pain to do them by hand, but as far as I know, a similar tool is not currently possible. :x - Rari Talk 04:04, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Bonesaw

Hi Rari,

I just updated the Bonesaw. However, it's [BIND ON EQUIP] and not [NO DROP]. Where/how does one change that entry?

fomelo2wiki has a hard time telling them apart sometimes. I fixed Bonesaw - just needed to change flagnodrop to flagboe in the stats. Also, this is still being written, but you may find it helpful User:Rari/fomelo2wiki. - Rari Talk 15:56, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Lockpicking

At the tavern in Athica-A (T_____'s Venom) there are two doors in the basement. The door on the left is able to be picked starting at a skill of 110 and the door straight ahead becomes trivial at 95. Be careful when picking the door on the left -- an athica citizen will aggro you if the door is picked on the stairs.

Also, merchant doors in Athica-A can start being picked at a still of 100. Don't go upstairs into the alchemist shop unless you are hide/sneak.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Novella (talk).

Major update to the Lockpick Guide - tried to include what you have here as well. - Rari Talk 19:15, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

PoFire loot

Howdy, can you check to see if i added the items "Muta" and "Orb of Anti-Magic" in right? I could have swore i did it right but they arent listed with the respective mob that drops them when you click on said mob. I cant for the life of me figure out what i am doing wrong. - Asteria 07:23, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Just needed to purge the NPC loot catergories. Read my last response to Edited / added Items from War above for more on how to do that. - Rari Talk 14:26, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Updates to items

Yup, ive been getting all the items we have received and casting ID on them. If they have a lore description i put it on the Wiki. Sorry if im over stepping my bounds on doing that since there isnt a lore section on the item page. I just felt as though not a lot of people dont take the time to identify items and its a shame because there is a lot of fun little tid bits to be found. All the updates i have done have been word for word as it shows up in game. On a side note, you should talk to your Dev friends to add more lore descriptions in game, its seems only the new zones and loot have them with only a few exceptions like the Sanguis 2 handed sword from ToT. Asteria

If you want to get a message through to the devs, use the forums ;) It's fine if you want to add Lore information afaik, but use ---- above the line - it's how we've generally denoted 'extra' information on an item. You may find some items that have +1HB mod info stored in lore, and in those cases just add it as if it is part of the normal item information (that mod does not show up on items, but is stored in Lore) - Rari Talk 15:03, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Will do from here on out!

Mob rename

Hello Rari,

in Rust theres a Mob named "Rust Lord Syinval" listed. The Correct name should be "Rust Lord Syvinal" as shown in the quest text for the factory key I edited.

Xandroz 19:59, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Mmmk. Updated NPC and related items. - Rari Talk 20:20, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

auto filling tables

hunting guide(s)

Hey there! I saw you're working on a solo guide for shadowknights. Just wanted to let you know, in case you hadn't noticed, that I moved it into your userspace until you finish it. Similarly, I took the link to it off of the shadowknights page until then as well. We have plenty of half finished guides collecting dust around here, so I've been encouraging people to only release finished work. Good luck, can't wait to see it when you're done! :D - Rari Talk 22:41, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

hi, sorry i didn't know this was the case, and i appreciate the reason, however i wrote this guide to fill the missing void that the other shadowknight guide leaves. If this is a rule, please can you remove the other shadowknight guide someone else wrote from levels 47 to 50 only. I say this because i put a lot of effort into this guide and i feel a bit penalized since the other, much smaller and less complete guide has not been subject to this rule. I also couldn't help but notice a few other hunting guides are not complete or missing sections, does the rule not apply to this particular area of the wiki? if so, i could not figure out how to get my guide onto that page and would need help with that. Some of the other guides appear complete but end at a certain level (around 50-60) if i changed the ending of my guide to finish at level 52 rather than saying "more to come" would that be acceptable? It could take some time before i reach my next 15 levels and i thought i was being helpful for other's wanting to start this class.

Bounty quests

Because http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Category:Bounty_quests looks like crap :| --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Esiege (talk).

I just added the template for that a day or two ago; didn't realize it wasn't sorting properly. I added an if statement in the template - it should sort properly now, adding in the padding in the display without actually altering the categorization of the pages. - Rari Talk 05:25, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Banshee's Aura

Hello Rari,

I recently made a Necromancer, currently level 18. At level 16 I buffed myself with Banshee Aura and according to damage shield reports it was returning 12 damage per hit. I'm not sure what it does at level 29 or when it caps, but the damage shield does minimum of 12 damage as of 09/21/2010 at least.

Thanks,

Seiryu

Factiontables

I've noticed that The Gruplok is no longer listing anything under the 'Quests that increase this faction' section, appears your change of {{Factiontables}} to {{Factiontables|The Gruplok}} had some side effects. Laurane 15:10, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Sivyana Vah Sidequest

I don't have log from first part, but since followers of Sivyana cannot kill the creatures in First Ruins they instead go through the castle asking each creature if they have seen a liodreth hiding around the castle. Most will reply no, but one will eventually respond that he has seen one, but it only shows up when he is gone. You tell him to leave and you will take care of it. He poofs and a hidden presence spawns. Took me around 30 hails before I found the right one, no idea if same one every time or not but it was a sivakian warrior in lower levels of castle in a room with 3 others.

Later on in the Vah when you need to get the eye from first ruins you go back and talk to them again:

You say, 'Hail, a sivakian witch'
a sivakian witch says, 'What is it? I'm very busy.'
- [D1] I've come for one of your eyes.
You say, 'I've come for one of your eyes.'
a sivakian witch says, '*What*?'
- [D1] I said I've come for one of your eyes. I'll choose for you if you can't make up your mind.
You say, 'I said I've come for one of your eyes. I'll choose for you if you can't make up your mind.'
The Sivakian sputters, unsure how to respond. '--you! You can't--no! You can't talk to me this way, I--'
- [D1] Yes, exactly. An eye. I'm glad you're catching on.
You say, 'Yes, exactly. An eye. I'm glad you're catching on.'
The Sivakian eyes your weapons nervously. '...look. Give me some time. I'll... I'll find one for you. One that's not mine. Just give me a little time, ok?'
- [D1] ...fine, if only to stop your weeping. You have two hours.
You say, '...fine, if only to stop your weeping. You have two hours.'
The Sivakian nods.
(NOTE: This Sivakian will now attempt to 'find' an eye for you. You should return in two hours.)

  • added note this is 2 real life hours, not game hours*

Upon returning 2 hours later:

a sivakian witch says,' I don't have it yet! I couldn't find it! Please, just a little more time.'
-[D1] No.
The Sivakian screams and tries to flee, but you're too quick. You swiftly restrain the beast. The two of you both reach for its dagger. You get there first. Slowly, deliberately, letting it see the blade, you gouge out one of its eyes for yourself. The Sivakian wrenches free of your grasp and flees, bawling, into the depths of the ruins.
You receive Hateful Eye from a Sivakian witch.

Sivyana followers need to repeat this twice if they plan on getting the Emberflow eye from Boomba the Burning.

(that is sooo cool, lol) Nathasar 04:53, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

EXPable items

Hey Rari,

Was wondering if there is a template we can use for expable items. As far as I can tell the adept items are listed as expable, but only because they are adept items. The new quest line in Oggok has expable rewards that are not adept loot, so I am unsure how to display the exp growth and what not. hynch 19:44, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Edited the template. Add | expable = 1 for expable items that are not also adept items. Adept items maintain automatic formatting. For either type, you must add expgrowthrate and explevels for the max stats to appear next to the base. Both of these numbers can be obtained once the item gains a level with /cm itemexpreport. - Rari Talk 00:43, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Help Me Understand

I'm tryin' to help with the cleanup but I'm havin' a hard time understanding what some of the keywords mean. what does { { done } } mean? Nathasar 04:50, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

{{Done}} is an empty template that was used to denote a page that had been 'fixed' when the old templates were being added. I was doing all of that by hand (didn't even have a wikitool for the template like we do now). The done template was going to be removed with a bot, but until we get an update on the wiki software, I can't do that. If you are updating an item that has {{done}} just remove it. User:Rari/fomelo2wiki is worth looking at. - Rari Talk 20:45, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Renders in Heartland Plateau / Pottery tradeskill page

In Heartland Plateau is a "A deepwater render" on mob list. There is no DEEPwater render, the name is wrong. The only renders there spawned in 2 hours of hunting is "A DREADwater render" beside "A dreadwater seeker" and "Ancient Render". To avoid double articles I didn't create a new article. I guess the name should be corrected, something I can't do.

On Pottery tradeskill page the info boxes experience gains/skill ups/recipes are almost impossible to read due to white background. Duvinya 11:18, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Took me a few minutes to sort this out. There never was A deepwater render on the wiki. There was A deepwater seeker as well as a A dreadwater render. A deepwater seeker was moved to A dreadwater seeker using  Move  and the NPC page was updated to reflect the correct name.
I'll be fixing Pottery in a moment. Honestly sick of Tradeskill pages, but yeah, a lot of them need attention. This is an easy fix, but apparently even though everyone can see the issue now, I'm the only one who can fix it. Fixed Pottery. - Rari Talk 14:21, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Athica on zonelist

Athica is wrong on the zone list. Old name of athicaa is North Felwithe, athicab is South Felwithe. I am afraid, the edits I made on zonelist to this two city zones are incomplete due to the links I cannot edit, sorry.Duvinya 12:00, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Fletching page

I updated the Fletching merchant template and added items to get more infos on the fletching tradeskill page. Due to some typos I created 4 wrong pages. They are obsolete now as I created new articles with correct spelling. Please delete following articles: Pile of Cuprosil arrowheads (missing capital at Arrowheads), Sheet of Softwood Shafts, Sheat of Hardwood Shafts, Sheat of Reed Shafts (at all of them the first word is spelled wrong). Sorry for this =/

The book "Quivers and the Arrowmaker" is shown on merchant's list with the comment "Talk:Quivers and the Arrowmaker" and is marked as "old format item". The article was already there, I added only the merchant price. Format is the new version, I have no idea what is wrong. This is maybe the issue, the items does not show up on fletching page at purchased components.Duvinya 21:09, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Is a list of images available to find the number of missing images? Duvinya 21:18, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Ok, first of all, please use the 'Move' function instead of remaking pages if you make something with the wrong name in the future, so I don't have to go back and delete things. Second, I could not find pages for Hardwood Shafts or Reed Shafts with the misspelling you indicated (I did find and delete the other two bad names.) The Talk page issue was due to a lack in a parameter in the Merchant template - I've fixed that, thanks for letting me know there was an error. It was listing as 'old format' because the page lacked the new template (and for good reason!) Finally, images have to be added manually by me. You could add them from a list, but doing this provides a 'double check' on spelling and helps make sure we have the correct image (because a few are very similar.) I'm a bit distracted this week, but I ALWAYS add them. - Rari Talk 06:14, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Obsidian Razor

The stats on the Obsidian Razor seem to be off , when fully levelled they are: Dam 27 , Del 29 , AC 6 , Strength 6 , Stamina 6 , HP 40 , SV Magic 6

http://tinypic.com/r/v58vth/7

Just thought I'd post it here instead of making a horrific mess trying to update the page , hope that's ok . --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Grisil (talk).

I can't say why they are off. Can you confirm the total levels and change data are correct? - Rari Talk 16:33, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi there , yes it was level seven of seven , the tinypic is the final item although 34/29 would have been nice ;). I've never tried updating before so I apologise for the vaguness =).

Meyers web tool

fomelo2wiki isn't available since móre than a week now. The link on "Format for adding new items" page (http://www.mattzorn.com/wikitool) seems no longer valid. Is there a chance to get the tool back? Duvinya 18:06, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Ask meyers? I've been swamped with work, so I have no clue. - Rari Talk 23:58, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Healing Increment Item Table

I have been updating some of the old formatted items as I see them. The latest was Zark's Crusher, which has a Healing Increment I focus effect. I expected it to show up in on the Healing Increment page. However, it didn't. Did I do something wrong, or miss something? --totillion 21:57, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

The item was fine (other than extra categories which I removed.) The problem was that there was no category for HI1 items - check the bottom of your items' pages for red linked automatically generated categories. If you get one or more of them, open the pages and click Special Item category from the auto-formatting list, then save. Anyway, should be gtg for that item. - Rari Talk 23:23, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

New expperlevel field

Thanks for adding the expperlevel field for expable items.

One minor adjustment is needed, however. The total exp is currently calculated as:

EXPLEVELS * EXPPERLEVEL

The exp per level scales upwards though at a rate of (new level) * (exp rate) so the formula should be:

( (EXPLEVELS +1) /2 ) * EXPLEVELS * EXPPERLEVEL

Such that the Dust Dancer Boots used in the example would have a final exp total of 1757664. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Harowen (talk).

Glad to do so. Should be all better. - Rari Talk 19:23, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
