I must locate the spirit guide of the glacier, Frostwind. She can be found somewhere in the maze of the glacier in Everfrost.

Most impressive. I am glad to see such enthusiasm from a young proud shaman. You must head out into Everfrost once again, but this time you must seek out Frostwind.

You say, 'Who is this Frostwind?'

Frostwind is a spirit guide of the glaciers. She sits silently alone in a small niche within the glaciers walls. You must navigate through Everfrost's glacier maze to find her.' Karlin tilts his head slightly upwards as if listening to an unheard voice. He nods knowingly then turns back to you, 'You must go now, she awaits you.

Find Frostwind (Everfrost  at 1650, 250  • In a crevice close to Halas) .

You say, 'Hail, Frostwind'

Frostwind says, 'Greetings and well met spirit child Playername. I am Frostwind, and I have been waiting til you were of age to begin your search. Tell me child, do you feel you have become of age?'

You say, 'I feel I have.'

Frostwind looks you over with her silver eyes. You then feel her penetrate your spirit as she smiles at you, 'Indeed you have, child. Your spirit is pure. Untainted. Very good. Do you wish to continue?'

You say, 'I am ready to continue.'

Frostwind says, 'Excellent! My time here is short as it takes much energy for a spirit guild to manifest on the prime plane. You must prove to me that my presence here was not in vain. There are four troubled spirits who failed to pass on to the other side. The longer they remain on the prime plane, the more they suffer. Their deaths were unjust and they need to be laid to rest. I beseech you to collect their essences. Will you help me free them of their torment?'

You say, 'I will free them!'

Frostwind says, 'You are truly selfless, barbarian. Each spirit vainly hides from the pain in the glacier's valleys. Seek them out and take this Astral Pouch with you. Bring back the combined essences of all four spirits as quickly as possible. I will use the glaciers strength to bring these poor spirits into view, but it will only be for a short time. Once you behold them, tell them gently that 'you are here to free them'. Make haste my child!'

You receive Empty Astral Pouch from Frostwind.

• Find the Tormented Dwarven Spirit (Everfrost  at 1650, 1200  •) .
  You say, 'Hail, Tormented Dwarven Spirit'

  Tormented Dwarven Spirit The dwarven spirit looks up at you with tears in its eyes, and then turns away, 'Me wounds... so harsh is the torment I suffer. If only there was a way to mend them, my pain might end.'
  You say, 'I am here to free you'

  Tormented Dwarven Spirit says, 'Free? I have not heard such a word in an eternity... yes, I am free now. Free from my neverending torment once and for all...'

  As the tormented spirit dissipates you notice a powdery essence form in your hand.

  You receive Dwarven Spirit Essence from Tormented Dwarven Spirit.

• Find the Tormented Erudite Spirit (Everfrost  at -820, 1150  •) .
  You say, 'Hail, Tormented Erudite Spirit'

  Tormented Erudite Spirit The erudite spirit swings at the air, as if attacking some unseen assailant, 'Why do you torment me so! GO AWAY! What do you want?! Can you not see what I have? My torment... it is neverending after being witness to those crimes.'
  You say, 'I am here to free you'

  Tormented Erudite Spirit says, 'Free? I have not heard such a word in an eternity... yes, I am free now. Free from my neverending torment once and for all...'

  As the tormented spirit dissipates you notice a powdery essence form in your hand.

  You receive Erudite Spirit Essence from Tormented Erudite Spirit.

• Find the Tormented Iksar Spirit (Everfrost  at -910, -1150  •) .
  You say, 'Hail, Tormented Iksar Spirit'

  Tormented Iksar Spirit The iksar spirit stands unmoving, then it slowly turns its head towards you, 'What isss it that you want Troll? Cannot not sssee that I am... busy. Thisss plague, it hasss tormented me for an eternity... it will not fade.'
  You say, 'I am here to free you'

  Tormented Iksar Spirit says, 'Free? I have not heard such a word in an eternity... yes, I am free now. Free from my neverending torment once and for all...'

  As the tormented spirit dissipates you notice a powdery essence form in your hand.

  You receive Iksar Spirit Essence from Tormented Iksar Spirit.

• Find the Tormented Elven Spirit (Everfrost  at 3000, -1250  •) .
  You say, 'Hail, Tormented Elven Spirit'

  Tormented Elven Spirit The elven spirit glides over the ground towards you, 'You can see me? By the gods! You can see me! I've been so alone. Why have you come? Please... quickly, the cold air... I am trapped here in torment.'
  You say, 'I am here to free you'

  Tormented Elven Spirit says, 'Free? I have not heard such a word in an eternity... yes, I am free now. Free from my neverending torment once and for all...'

  As the tormented spirit dissipates, you notice a powdery essence form in your hand.

  You receive Elven Spirit Essence from Tormented Elven Spirit.

Combine all four essences in the pouch to receive Filled Astral Pouch.

Give the Filled Astral Pouch to Frostwind.

A look of pained relief settles over Frostwinds face as the pouch lifts from your hands and mystically floats over to her and disappears in a display of cascading light, 'They are truly at rest now, my child. And it is all thanks to you <Player Name>. Take this back to your guild as proof of your deed.'

You gain 1000 experience!!

Your faction standing with Spirit Walkers has gotten better!

You receive Spirit Catcher from Frostwind.

Return to Mystic Karlin and hand him the Spirit Catcher.

Your gain 300 experience!!

Your faction standing with Spirit Walkers has gotten better!

Mystic Karlin says, 'Well done barbarian. Frostwind is truly thankful that you were able to release those lost spirits, and allowed them to finally rest. A great many thanks to you Shis. The Spirit-stone I just gave you is used in the next piece of Tundra armor. Keep it safe. I will tell you what you will need to craft a skullcap when you are ready.'

You receive Spirit-stone.
