Find Trader Jildo (Everfrost  at 1173, -1008, -61  • Silver Crown camp, north ravine that connects Halas to the open area of the zone to the East.) .

Trader Jildo says, 'Ah, perfect! You're looking for work, aren't you, Soldier? I could really use a hand around here.'

You say, 'I am looking for tasks to do.'

Trader Jildo says, 'Here's the gist of it. I am tasked with the mapmaking portion of the exploration effort, and to put it blunt, I don't particularily fancy ending up the dinner of one of the monstrous beasts that seem to love the cold winds of the North so much. I am looking for someone with a bit more experience in adventuring and survival than myself to take over the job. Interested?'

You say, 'Certainly, Trader.'

Trader Jildo says, 'Good! Here, take these blank parchments - don't misplace them, you won't find any replacements up there in the wilds and you need something to draw your maps on. There are four areas I want you to create maps of, and this note will detail which places you need to scout in each area before you start working on your map. For every completed map you bring me, I will make sure to pass on a good word to the High Trader on your behalf. You scratch my back, I scratch yours and all that. Good luck!'

Note: The various locations you need to visit are detailed in Jildo's Notebook. After visiting all four locations you will have to visit one of them again (the most recent one works) in order to turn the parchment into the map.

Mapping the Great Divide

Visit the following locations in Great Divide:

• The waterfall entrance to Thurgadin
• Along the stream inside the wyrm caves
• Outside the southeastern mines
• Outside the Sorcerer's Labyrinth

Mapping the Eastern Wastelands

Visit the following locations in Eastern Wastelands:

• The entrance to the Blizzardskin Fort
• The Northwest Point
• The Stormkeep Chasm
• The Southeast Point

Mapping the Frosthorn Coast

Visit the following locations in Frosthorn Coast:

• The docks of the far eastern island
• The Dragon Bone Bridge (-4413, 9012)
• The entrance to the Dreadfang Spire
• The southernmost edge of the ice floes (-3574, -7637)

Mapping the Wyvernfang Coast

Visit the following locations in Wyvernfang Coast:

• The waters just outside Siren's Grotto
• The teleportation circle
• The northern edge of the Othmir beach
• The far western edge of the plateau
