While I usually dream of nothing more then the next big breakthrough, this dream disturbed me greatly enough to jot it down outside of my usual journal.

The sages say that all dreams are the realm of Marlow, or more specifically that her daughter Dis is responsible for our general sleep habits, our dreams and hopes. That anyone could control our dreams is ludicrous. What power they would wield! They could destroy us all, make us do anything they wanted. What man doesn't dream after all! That is like saying man doesn't thirst, or bleed. No... if one of the elemental spirits had any real control of our dreams, let alone one like Marlow, we would all be dead.

Regardless of my personal beliefs, this dream was very different from a usual one. Rather than feeling free and out of my body, I felt trapped and confined, cold and alone. Yet it was not a nightmare! Instead I saw myself, working on something. A new potion! I watched him work, but I could tell this was not really myself I watched. Too sloppy, too many mistakes. But I knew I could refine the mixture. I turned to me and said only 'Green Muse' to myself. Having no desire to debate me, I just nodded. I awoke and before even writing this, went to work perfecting the potion.

Now the odd thing is, that I can't figure out what, if anything, this potion does! I tried it on my mutants, my minotaurs, my disciples. Nothing, no affect, no reaction. Yet I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is an important mixture. My notes on the perfect variant is on the following pages.

[From here forward archaic notes you don't understand continue for a few pages though you can read something] Distilled Terror, Black Blood, Savage Frenzy. No more difficult to make then a Brandy.
