Find Leader Dannisin (Eastern Plaguelands  at -1522, -118  • In the the tunnel to the Northern Wastes of Tarhyl) .

You say, 'do you have any other tasks for me?'
Leader Dannisin says, 'To be able to devise a cure for this horrifying affliction, I must have some understanding of how it was created - for created it was. Lasanth, the Alchemist I spoke of, is likely the only living being with some knowledge of this. If you could get me a journal, a notebook, anything of his that could further advance our understanding, I would likely be able to discern what is needed for a true cure.'

Gather and give Notebook to Leader Dannisin.

Leader Dannisin says, 'Blessed be you, my friend and ally. This is a glimmer of hope to our miserable existances. Hmm... yes... I understand now. A most vile disease this is, but it is not one that - ah, look, my friend. The Alchemist has included a recipe for an antidote, should he or one of his minions be afflicted by mistake. The enemy aids us thus unwillingly. I can see that there are four components that I would need to make this antidote... they are the Blood of a White Shark, Water of Healing, the Skin of a Man Fully Afflicted and Sun Dust.'
You say, 'where do I get this blood'
Leader Dannisin says, 'Sharks are creatures magnificently resistant to all sorts of disease - but even among them it would take the greatest of sharks to resist this unnatural disease. The blood of one such shark, a White Shark, a creature only fond in the waters around the New World, Faydwer, is what I require to give the antitode its proper disease-reflecting ability.'
You say, 'where do I get this water?'
Leader Dannisin says, 'Water of Healing springs from a well that belongs to the once honorable noble house of Elthannar. Though the house has succumbed to darkness, the spring is pure yet, and some water from it will revitalize our bodies and return health to them
You say, 'where do I get this skin?'
Leader Dannisin says, 'The hide of one that has passed so far into the disease that return is not possible is apparently needed - perhaps a magical diagnostic, the notebook does not specify. Find one such being in these lands.
You say, 'where do I get this dust?'
Leader Dannisin says, 'Sun Dust is an immensely powerful catalyst, the dust of a frozen star that can only be found in the unforgiving caverns of Everchill. It is a prized possession that will likely be held by the brutal shamans of the Everchill Orcs.

Your service to us is greater than you could ever imagine... to return to a normal life... to a normal body... fortunately I have a reward worthy of your valor. This shield was recovered by one of the brethren from the doomed city of Freeport. It is the shield held by the High Lord of Truth, and carries incredibly potent enchantments. I hope it serves you well, bringer of salvation. For us... it is time...'
Leader Dannisin shouts, 'My brethren! Come to me! We shall be free of this disease at last!'
