Entry One

I have arrived at the Sepulcher. Many of my brothers have come here, the same as I, to follow in his footsteps. To carry out his wishes and perform the rituals he demands. Each day we are called to the study of his disciples, and we share in the gospel of his word. One of hope, one of a future for us - not on this dying planet, but within the sanctity of his realm.

Entry Two

I am progressing through the fellowship quickly. I have been offered studies of my own to partake in, by the master. I think it is within my best interest to accept them, and so I will. The days grow longer, however. There is a longing deep within my heart for something... for someone. I am not sure who or why it is there, but it lingers and grows stronger each day.

Entry Three

At the last sermon I met a young woman by the name of Vadra. She is very beautiful, perhaps this is the person I have been longing for. When I am around her, I feel as if there is not a care in the world. Her voice is like music to my ears... yes, she is the one for me. I will speak with her the next chance I get to share my feelings.

Entry Four

I have been ordered by the master to begin my studies. They delve into the summoning apparitions to aid us in the rituals we perform. The summoning is going quite well - I have already called forth a minor apparition, though it is not strong enough to do what is needed. I also spoke with Vadra yesterday, she was very excited to hear of my feelings for her.

Entry Five

Vadra and I have requested the blessing of the master to wed. I pray that he will allow us, so we do not have to hold back our feelings for one another. My studies are also progressing well, I have summoned forth several apparitions during rituals that have assisted us a great deal, and reduced the time needed to perform the rituals.

Entry Six

Sweet, sweet Valda. The master gave us his blessing, and we are now wed. My studies are on hold for now, and work has been shifted to overseeing newer scribes and apprentices entering the sepulcher.

Entry Seven

Vadra expressed interest in my work recently, and so we began to work in secret together. Something has given me a new drive... I feel that my place is not one of a scribe or ritualist. I am capable... no, I deserve to be a disciple of the master. We will prove it with our work, and he will acknowledge it... I'm sure.

Entry Eight

No... something went horribly wrong. The summoning... echoes of the master and a cruel laugh. Vadra is now sleepless, tormented by demonic apparitions. Why? Why has the master forsaken one of his greatest pupils? This cannot be, I will not allow it!

Entry Nine

Vadra, my love... she is nearly gone. I awoke to her screams, and witnessed a horrific sight. The apparitions we summoned earlier were now taking over her body. Not to be used a host, but rather a sacrifice... the master has chosen her as a sacrifice. WHY?! I will not let her be taken.

Entry Ten

Vadra spoke her last breath today. I placed her lifeless body into a casket and moved it to my quarters. I will watch over her... some day she will rise again.
