You say, 'My lady, with all due respect I know what to do next'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth says, 'I... I see. Then let me send-'
You say, 'Sorry, but no.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth looks deeply into your eyes. What she finds, you do not know. 'Before you set off to end it, see me once more. I will personally bless all of these objects that you bring. Do you need any assistance in finding them?'
You say, 'I need a funeral tarp, or blanket of some sort. Something to cover the dead.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth thinks carefully before asking. 'The Crusaders of Freeport had them in limited supply before the fall. Perhaps some of them still exist.'
You say, 'I need a flame powerful enough for a cremation.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth looks deeply at you again. 'A Pyrrhic torch would do. Common they were in the days of the Great War. I believe the Flame Lords of Redsun still possess them.'
You say, 'I need toys, wooden and hand painted, like once were crafted in Rivervale.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth sighs, grief in her voice. 'You will find no such things made anymore. You will have to locate some in Rivervale itself. I know not from who or what...'
You say, 'A powerful drink to top it all off when I've finished it all.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth embraces you briefly, and speaks as she releases you. 'The most appropriate would be Halfling Stouter. A moderately skilled brewer should be able to make it for you.'

Gather and give to Sihala, Lady of the Earth:

  • Blessed Funeral Blanket
  • Pyrrhic Torch
  • Crate of Old Halfling Toys
  • Halfling Stouter
Sihala, Lady of the Earth chants, but your burden is not lightened. 'Are you sure there is nothing more I can do?'
You say, 'No.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth says, 'I understand. Good bye <Player Name>. Make right what once was.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth says, 'Return to me when all is complete. Goodbye <Player Name>.'
Note: The next event is fairly tough. Recommended that you bring at least one strong full group, or two groups otherwise.

Head to Everfrost to continue. In the secret tunnel near the Everchill Caverns zone line... you should spawn an npc named The Perfect Sacrifice (Everfrost  at 1986, -6943, -58  • hidden tunnel in the north east corner) }.

You say, 'Hail, The Perfect Sacrifice'
The Perfect Sacrifice says, 'Hel...lo?
You say, 'I've found you...'
The Perfect Sacrifice says, 'Ha..veyou?'

The Perfect Sacrifice runs away. Give chase until it stops in a ruined tower.

And acted on it! There is no escape, you are mine.
You say, 'NO! This ends here. I reject you. I reject it all. Get out of me now!'
A sickness you didn't know was there wells up insides of you. You feel as if you are being torn apart! You have no idea what is real and whats not, but around you are...

Dialogue if you spared Milo in the first part of the quest

You say, 'Hail, The Perfect Sacrifice'

Milo Dobbins (Everfrost) (Everfrost  at 2809, -6269, -56  • North Eastern building) will appear, replacing The Perfect Sacrifice.

You say, 'Hail, Milo Dobins'
Milo Dobins says, 'Very nice to see you again <Player Name>. I suppose I ought to thank you. You made it so much easier to gain access to Sihala's domain!
You say, 'I showed you mercy, and this is how you repay me?'
Milo Dobins says, 'Well...Yes! Mercy is for weaklings like Althuna. She isn't going to last long, I can promise you that much.'
You say, 'What have you done! Where is all this going?'
Milo Dobins says, 'Me? I'm flattered. I myself have done nothing but push the boulder down the hill. My mast- Hehehehehe!'
You say, 'You WILL talk, I will take this information by force if I have to.'
Milo Dobins says, 'Hit me I say! If you want something in life, you have to take it! For example, I desire the container of your soul! AND I WILL TAKE IT!'

Milo Dobbins will now attack you. Kill him.

Note: During the fight, several a shadow touched stalk will spawn in. Seems to be timed. Concentrate on burning down Milo as fast as possible. Milo uses Frenzy and Phantom Strikes.
Milo Dobins collapses in a bloody and defeated heap. A moan escapes his lips.
You say, 'Hail, Milo Dobins'
Milo Dobins moans softly in pain...
Milo Dobins looks purified.

Give to Milo Dobins:

  • Blessed Funeral Blanket
  • Pyrrhic Torch
  • Crate of Old Halfling Toys
  • Halfling Stouter
Milo Dobins says, '...Dammit... I am stronger than you... what do you have... what do you have that I don't...'
You say, 'Mercy. [Finish him off, and set the body on fire]'
As the body burns, the corpse lets out an unholy screech. Piercing eyes, and cold judgment find their way through the funeral garb.
Milo Dobins says, 'I hate you.'
You say, 'I know. [Take the shot of Halfling Stout]'
Only the crackle of the fire replies.
The charred corpse of Milo says nothing more... you wish you had another drink...

Dialogue if you killed Milo in the first part of the quest

You say, 'Hail, The Perfect Sacrifice'

Milo Dobbins (Everfrost) (Everfrost  at 2809, -6269, -56  • North Eastern building) will appear, replacing The Perfect Sacrifice.

You say, 'Hail, Milo Dobins'
Milo Dobins says, 'Hail, <Player Name>. A suggestion... If you are going to kill a plant, kill the roots first.'
You say, 'Bitter about me killing you?'
Milo Dobins says, 'No... disappointed that you were too stupid to finish the job. Any smart person knows that you don't bring an enemy corpse up to their base. Tch. Wanna know the difference between worshippers of your Master, and worshipers of My Master?'
You say, 'What?'
Milo Dobins says, 'That even if all our skills, abilities, and powers were exactly the same, ours still posess something that yours very much lack. Do you know what that is?'
You say, 'No, enlighten me.'
Milo Dobins says, 'Instinct. Within every being with any will to survive, they have the instinctual urge to kill, to take from anything that is weaker than them, so that they, in turn, can live and gain power... But YOU don't have that! You lack those base instincts that will allow you to live longer! You Dalayans try to defeat your enemies with kind words and prayers... but you're trying to blast someone with a fizzled spell! I don't know about you, but I wouldn't stand next to a weak God and be blasted to pieces with them.'
You say, 'That-.'
Milo Dobins says, 'That is because it is all true. You have a strong body, but a weak God. Therefore, you are weak. Your body would do well... it might even reach the top. That is why I am going to take it from you...'
You say, 'Try your worst!'
Milo Dobin's gazes into your eyes... you know fear, and you feel chilled to the bone.
Milo Dobins says, 'And you will never reach the Truth.'

Give to Milo Dobins:

  • Blessed Funeral Blanket
  • Pyrrhic Torch
  • Crate of Old Halfling Toys
  • Halfling Stouter
You place the toys in the childs cold hands and his body with the funeral tarp.
Milo Dobins says, '...Dammit... I am stronger than you... what do you have... what do you have that I don't...'
You say, 'Hope.

Final turn-in

Return to Sihala, Lady of the Earth

You say, 'Hail, Sihala, Lady of the Earth'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth looks at you as you approach, relief apparent in her eyes. 'You look terrible! Please report everything that happened!'
You say, '[Report everything]'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth seems deeply startled for a moment. She sighs again before speaking. 'You have done a great thing today. What you, and the rest of my-.'
You say, 'A great thing?! WE failed! We STILL know absolutely nothing more than we did when all of this started!'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth appears hurt for a moment, but it passes. 'You are still alive... and uncorrupted again. That is what matters right now. The corruption can be fought if your will is strong enough. The childs words were also telling. We are dealing with something... great... the knowledge must be spread, the other Gods warned.'
You say, 'What would you have me do.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth says, 'First, you will hand me your Mark of the Hunter. You are more than a Hunter now.'

Hand Sihala, Lady of the Earth your Mark of Sihala's Hunter.

You gain 100000 experience!!

You receive Mark of Sihala's Champion from Sihala, Lady of the Earth.

Sihala, Lady of the Earth says, 'You are my Champion <Player Name>. A true keeper of the Balance. If you are unhappy with the specific enchantments on that Mark, return it to me for a new one.'
You say, 'Its not over yet.'
Sihala, Lady of the Earth nods. 'No, it is far from over. But for now our hands are tied. All the corrupted Treants have been unmade, and no creation of mine is allowed to leave this realm without first checking with me personally. If this Master was depending on us to spread his taint, that part of his plan has been foiled at least. There will come a point when your services and knowledge will be called upon again... but for now rest, train, and become more powerful. You know what the enemy is capable of better than anyone else... but I fear the worst is yet to come.'
