SS Gnome.JPG
A Gnome instructs the self-proclaimed Wizard Thog in how to wield a wand.

Scatterbrained, aloof and hotheaded, gnomes are nonetheless masters of invention, making brilliant natural scientists, tinkerers and arcanists. If there is a discovery to be made or an invention to be conceived you will almost always find gnomes in the thick of it. They are a tiny and frail race, but are regardless capable of martial feats through their coordination and speed to say nothing of the army of battle-machines they construct and maintain. They are one of the few races to have reclaimed their ancient homelands, and defend it fiercly against any aggressors. Gnomes see in the dark with Infravision. It should come as no surprise that a race of mages and inventors know a thing a two about gear; Gnomes have an exceptional affinity with proc'ing equipment and successfully activate them more often.
