Despite her well-maintained appearance, Fyona the Elementalist looks to be at least somewhat deranged. The Dark Elf rambles constantly to the elementals surrounding her and seems to have an unusual attachment to them. Defeating her will surely depend on dispatching these elementals in a methodical manner. The woman seems to treat Druids and fellow Magicians with particular suspicion.

Group Strategy

  • Only a Magician or Druid may start the event by hailing Fyona and going through her dialogue.
  • There is a very specific order in which the Dark Elf and her elementals must be defeated. This order is derived from the pet's names, beginning with the "lowest-ranking" pet:
    1. Fyona's pet's pet's pet's pet
    2. Fyona's pet's pet's pet
    3. Fyona's pet's pet
    4. Fyona's pet
    5. Fyona
    • Note that the names are randomly assigned each time Fyona spawns, meaning the fight will unfold differently each time. For example, the water elemental may be the first target during one kill, then the third target the next time.
  • Root, See Invisible, and Ward Elemental are some suggested spells to have.
  • The Flitterdust Pouch item works on the elementals but is fairly inconsistent on its timer, still quite useful.
  • On her last phase, you may be able to duck out of sight behind a tree, to avoid having her target you with her rain spell, and gain a few moments to recover mana, while someone else attacks her.
    • Don't get too far from her unless you intend to flee: if you get too far, you will ""collapse in exhaustion," feigning out of the fight yet losing nearly all your HP and mana.

Battle Information

General Information

  • Alongside her are the four different types of elemental pets that a Magician can summon.
  • Upon engage, all of the pets will chase you and Fyona herself will dispell buffs on her target.
  • The pets are all rootable and snareable. Rooting the earth elemental is typically priority one.
  • After all pets are dead, Fyona will begin casting an aoe magic Rain of Blades: this hits for 26 base magic damage, reduced to 20 with 45 MR, reduced to 10 with 103 MR, more info pending. As this is a rain spell, it is possible to duck in and hit and duck out if one is so inclined, or to move out of the melee when she is casting.
  • after pet death Fyona can also cast Spell: Column of Fire was fully resistable with 163FR. also seems to have a 5 point damage shield.
  • unconfirmed but based on the spell fyona spams after pets die may be based on what pet dies last since Spell: Column of Fire happened when fire pet was last to die and Spell: Rain of Blades was not cast on that round.
  • if you debuff or attack pets before the fight starts you may be mana drained.

Pet Information

Air

  • Jayla's Insight:
    • This air elemental wields fist-load weapons, suggesting it may behave like a Monk. This combined with its already ethereal form suggest it will be difficult to hit with physical means. In fact, the elemental is so faint that it is effectively invisible to the naked eye.
  • Hit 450 AC with 5 DR for 1 damage.

Earth

  • Jayla's Insight:
    • This earth elemental looks as though it could deal quite the heavy blow with its mallet. However, the weapon is so heavy indeed that it must have an impact on the wielder's agility.
  • Hit 450 AC with 5 DR for 78 damage.

Fire

  • Jayla's Insight:
    • This fire elemental wields no weapon, instead carrying a wand and a spellbook that looks to hold scribblings of Wizard magic. Such elementals are as well-known for their immunity to fire as they are for their weakness to cold.
  • Hit 450 AC with 5 DR for 9 damage.
  • Has a 50 damage shield, be careful attacking with fast weapons.
  • can cast Spell: Icestrike

Water

  • Jayla's Insight:
    • This water elemental has a body composed of highly reflective water. It grips weapons akin to those of a Rogue, so it may be best not to turn your back on it.
