Find Hyvek Vahl (The Mountain Crags of Tarhyl  at 778, -1317  •) .

You say, 'Hail, Hyvek Vahl'
Hyvek Vahl says, 'Well hello, bright young worthy <playername>. Itching to prove ourselves, I trust?'
You say, 'I bet you say that to all the bard neophytes.'
Hyvek Vahl says, 'I do indeed. I'll break you of that, in time. You shouldn't strive to prove yourself. If others underestimate or overestimate themselves, that is their own fault, and it's something you can use to your advantage. But still, there's work to be done, and I'd have you do it--consider it a price for your lessons.' Hyvek hooks a scoll with a claw and pulls it out of his pocket. The first thing on the docket for you is to bring us a few martial headbandscarried by the Valk monks. Three should suffice. Apparently they made off with some of Garrekh's cloth to make the things.' Hyvek chuffs. 'Sneaky little things, aren't they?'

Gather and give Hyvek Vahl:

  • Martial Headband x3
Hyvek Vahl says, 'Ah, excellent! Garrekh will be happy to get his fabric back.' Hyvek takes one of the headbands and dabs hid muzzle with it, cleaning it of a few drops of wine. Seeing your expression, he grins. 'So he thinks they stole his wine, too. Never hesitate to play a trick now and again--they often make for the best stories. Of course, stories are only half of our trade, but that's for your next lesson. For now, take these sleeves. Tuushal has really outdone himself on them.'

You gain (Unknown) experience!!

You receive Vambraces of Duplicity from Hyvek Vahl.

You say, 'What's my next lessen entail?'
