Find Surefall Envoy Daphne (Zenn Malath  • Druid Ring) .

You say, 'Hail, Surefall Envoy Daphne'
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'Hail, fellow Druid. My name is Surefall Envoy Daphne, and I'm on official business from Surefall Glade. What can I do for you?'
You say, 'Some of these ruins bear an odd resemblance to the standing stones we Druids use for transportation, do they not?'
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'You've a keen eye, friend. They do indeed. In fact, that's precisely why I've been called here. It seems that, in excavating for gemstones, the Frogloks hit upon these marble ruins. Noting the resemblance to Druid stones, the Wizard envoy from Sadri Malath sent away to Surefall for our input.'
You say, 'I see. What have you found so far?'
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'Nobody knows who built the ruins or why. There's a sister set to the west of the lake outside, but those have been overtaken by a host of tentacled creatures. Druidic code recognizes them as the rightful claimants to those ruins, dreadful though the creatures may be. No matter. The stones you see before you are more than enough for me to work with.'
You say, 'Work with? What exactly are you doing here?'
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'My colleague, Tzailav the Elder, asked that I sanctify the stones for use as a Druid ring, and the liaison to Sadri Malath gave me the go-ahead. Not only will the dedication of a Druid ring improve our relations with the people of Sadri Malath, but it will also allow us to keep vigil over the local flora and fauna as settlement efforts expand.'
You say, 'When will the Druid ring be usable?'
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'As a matter of fact, I finished the dedication ritual the other day. Tzailav asked that I hand out scrolls to fellow Druids to encourage the ring's use, too. Here, take this scroll as a gesture of goodwill.'

You gain 5000 experience!

You receive Spell: Ring of Zenn Malath.

You say, 'Thank you, Daphne. I have to ask, though, is there no circle variant of this spell? A ring is only wide enough to allow travel for one...'
Daphne sighs gives Apollo a scornful look.
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'Alas, I had written down such a spell, but I spilt honeyed milk on that particular stack of scrolls. In my panic, I cast Spirit of Cheetah and ran to town to look for something to clean up the mess. And can you guess what I found upon my return? Apollo with a milk mustache and the guiltiest grin you ever saw. He ate every last scroll in the stack! Aren't I the fool, leaving a bear unattended next to a puddle of something honeyed? I can't imagine the inked parchment will agree with him...'
Apollo looks vacantly at his mistress and burps.
You say, 'Can I do something to help?'
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'Perhaps we can recover the scrolls. When this sort of thing happened in the Glade, Boppitt would mix an old Halfling remedy to get animals to... return what they'd swallowed. Tickletummy Tonic, he called it. I believe the recipe called for Chokecherry, Glade Mushroom, Soda, and a Pod of Water. Brew those in a barrel for me, would you? Bring along a Bixie Honeycomb, too. We'll need it to pacify Apollo once he's lost his lunch.'

Gather and combine Chokecherry, Glade Mushroom, Soda, and Pod of Water in a brewing barrel. Also gathering the nearby needed Bixie Honeycomb right after the Chokecherry may save time. The combined items should result in a Tickletummy Tonic; hand it to Daphne.

Daphne takes a whiff of the tonic and winces.
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'Whew! That's the stuff, alright. Boppitt always said this tonic tasted sweeter than it smelled. Let's hope he wasn't lying. Feed this to Apollo, would you? He's smart enough to know he's on my bad side, and I daresay he'd trust you more than me right now.

Upon handing Apollo the tonic:

Apollo licks the rim of the bottle. His eyes bulge at the taste. Greedily, he tips the bottle with his muzzle so that all of the contents flow into his mouth. Once he finishes the tonic, however, the look of contentment on the bear's face turns to one of wooziness...
Apollo regurgitates the stack of scrolls at your feet!

Quickly hand Apollo the Bixie Honeycomb; he attacks for 25% of your health until you calm him down with the honeycomb.

The bear snaps the honeycomb from your hand and begins to devour it. With your deed either forgotten or forgiven, you reach down to collect the regurgitated goods.

You receive Slimy Stack of Spell Scrolls.

Upon handing the Slimy Stack of Spell Scrolls to Daphne:

Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'Yuck! I mean, thanks! Now to see if any of these may still legible...'
Surefall Envoy Daphne says, 'Aha! These two look passable. One for you, and one for me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a lengthy scribing session ahead of me. And this time, I think I'll skip the honeyed milk.'

You gain 25000 experience!!

You receive Spell: Circle of Zenn Malath.
